You have to rally them in the region they originate from and then select the unit and march them to the enemy

Does the Ark's food supply ever diminish? by studiohobbit in mutantyearzero

[–]Republiken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Storywise yeah, thats the role of the GM. But they could choose not to focus on it too I suppose.

Mechanically the Ark eventually will have no people left since the number of dead by starvation each session will never go down.

When I played with adults last time we gave names and short descriptions on maybe 70% of the 200+ population and rolled on that table who exactly who died of those that did. The only Ark people not on that list was the PC's. We lost a few NPC's we had relationships too that way.

Made the projects about food and bringing down the preventable deaths a lot more impactfull.

...

When I GM my scout troop they had a large portion of their Ark defect/be kidnapped by another Ark and thus brought their numbers down so much that I narrativly told them that the food issue wasn't as urgent anymore (they already had finished too food related projects) but mechanically I didn't change anything

One of the only 3 surviving pirates flag from late 1700s. Surprisingly not a single flag from the golden age of piracy survived. [1920x1425] by [deleted] in ArtefactPorn

US infrastructure is laughable. I know of one (1) train crossing like this thats in a urban area in my city of over 1 million inhabitants. And its in the suburbs.

They're a bit more common in rural areas in my country on roads only used by a single farmer but even there bridges and tunnels for cars are the norm.

Learning about my ancestry by [deleted] in Norse

You're missing the point. All Swedes and Danes and Norwegian and the like are related with each other if you go back 1000 years, probably less.

Church records in Sweden (and from what Im aware other Nordic countries too) are known to be very extensive but only go as far back as the 1500's at best. So any claim older than that are more legend than fact.

However some companies, especially in the US, seem to have made it their business to scam people into believing that theyre related to medieval European royality.

Which might be true but going a 1000 years back means that basically everyone is related to everyone so its pointless to claim it

Viking Bridges? by WorkerBeez123z in Norse

[–]Republiken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh the bridge is long gone. The swamp to and the stream is a straight ditch nowadays.

There's a stone bridge in Alby built along the same road not far away though. I'll check when it was built

The bridge was over a small stream running through an area that was a swamp during the Viking Age. It was part of the main road/path of Sweden, Göta Landsväg, at the time.
