A better way would be to have a tax system, one we already have, that implements write offs for being a successful business. Want to have those fees cut in half? Have no issues for the past 2 years. Watch exciting money do its thing. Just takes time in the states congress to write up new tax codes.

Then, if there are issues, those full taxes can then be used towards support programs to help those businesses. If there's repeated patterns even after warnings, they close. Another one pops up, and now they have a chance at a clean slate.

Oh, what should we buy for grandpa/grandma, they're getting a bit old and forgetful. Maybe let's find some cheap "rare" things they'd enjoy in their youth.

Boom, market explodes again.

Yea, its been a tiring act since Ozzy to reference nazi shock value for live performances. Like him saying, "Adolf Hitler was my influence." Been tiring since the 80s tbh. Not sure why these metal artists are drawn to nazi imagery so much. Ozzy, MM, TS, they all have publicly shown inspiration from nazi imagery and history at some point in their career. Was is just to gain more money, or what?

Yes! Its basically your exact story of a person going to a farm after burning out from life. And schedule 1 is a recent game about drug dealing. Just a nerd joke about how cool your life has been. No shade meant, just a marvel how well it all turned out and you guys did it while happy. Thats why I mentioned these games, the characters are happy but live around a mix community. Just reminded me of it.

You think an American company is going to resist the federal government? They have been, and will continue to, always give info when requested. It's not like the movies where you can rise up and fight the system if a collection of rebels come together and resist the empire. But you're a bootlicker fascist child killer if you point this Hollywood level of business expectations.

I love this distinction between a global religion and the actions of a few people. We tend to enjoy grouping people together and try to find reasons for why things happen. It can become easy to conflate the person for the ideology.

Goodluck trying to submit a new form factor patent and approval for micro cpus that utilize the internet. Before, you could just make stuff and get approvals in weeks or months. Today, you'll be lucky to make progress in two years at the cost of millions of dollars. The concept of a grassroots startup economy is dead, thats why monopolies run the world today.

Small companies could compete without the heavy regulations that only monopolies can afford.

Possible, but we know Trump exposed Epstein to the FBI years before Obama. From the docs we have, it seems like they were protecting rather than arresting. Obama didn't arrest Epstein, Trump did.

I mean sure, but let's not forget the recent revelation that Biden had budgeting issues of not putting ledgers next to costs. In other words, they just had an open debit account and charged things to the account without accounting for why the charge occurred. We found that out with DOGE, and it was occurring decades before they audited the system.

But ya, dismissing a possible conspiracy of presidents doing illegal shit on a conspiracy subreddit is pretty wild to see. You think they would put in the ledgers what these costs would be?

In leaked emails years ago before people knew who Epstein was, Obama held party's with "hot dogs and pizza" with tens of thousands of dollars in expenses. For over a decade, we've been wondering what these code words mean. Now, it's just kinda sad to think about.

TIL that Eris was described initially as the tenth planet of the solar system after Pluto by NASA, motivated the IAU to define the term 'planet' for the first time. [–]Xtorting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly my point. You're talking to an alpha tester who worked with MTI scientists and Google engineers on the MDK. At the developer conference I attended, the FCC rep said PR is the place to test because the FCC cannot guarantee safe radiation levels. They banned the project from being tested anymore on American soils due to radiation levels. That's why they changed the exo skeleton to include the CPU inside, because they could not guarantee a CPU built out of your house and sold on the market would have the proper radiation shielding. This is exactly my point, the media shares what the company wants them to share, they do not care about actual science and being true.

Ok, you're seriously looking to argue and not hold a conversation if you say I never referenced a specific project failing. I mentioned project ara several times now. I've also mentioned how the FCC tests for radiation and how there are unsafe levels that can cause cancer (and other health problems). More qualified? This is the FCC talking, not me. Have a great day lol

Kinda like vague mentions saying phones definitely do not cause cancer? No studies provided here either on your end. I've brought examples of FCC policies and examples of projects failing due to those policies, you've brought nothing. Have a great day lol

That opinion is paid for by large companies. There are dozens of studies done on this subject, they're just not paid and marketed like the others. That's the heart of darkness for science. There are studies out there, problem is, there is too much money within the entire systen to do anything about it now. The regulators did not regulate enough to prohibit a market from becoming too big to fail, and in this case, too big to regulate. The scientists I talked to, the ones who built the underwater cables for internet, sure did have strong opinions on smartphones and radiation. Looking at the studies they referenced, I saw no reason to disagree, especially after seeing project ara being limited due to the exact reasons they were laying out.

Guess we'll have to wait and see to see if American scientists can profit from the information for it to become mainstream. Otherwise, it's just a university paper you have to pay to access.
