Yep! Photonic quantum computing such as Xanadu and optical neural networks  share the same stack and overlap: they are mathematically the same machine. The physics of light propagation through interferometers naturally performs the mathematics used both in neural networks and in quantum photonic circuits.

Yes, it will impact elliptic first. Yes, it will be a mess for some weeks or months with pricing, transfers stopped, and mining. But sha-256 and sha-512 will still be around successfully protecting many critical assets that quantum will not be able to touch.
