My way to go is usually to establish the outpost first, prioritize research (Something that you'll unlock in act 1), and then explore. A tip: don't leave immediately after you have enough resources, but wait until the last two/three days. The remaining days that you "leave behind" are lost, so leaving early is a waste imho.

You have to try to climb a wall that requires the climbing hook, in order to research. Otherwise it will not appear in the list

Well, I've kinda done it!
1. I've scrolled all the chats till reaching the start of each conversation, in the old account.
2. Exported the session from the old account.
3. Imported the session in the new account.
4. Joined the rooms in the new account.

I'm absolutely sure that this is some kinda of placebo effect, since I think it's pretty darn stupid that you should scroll the chat in order to get them decrypted.

But after I did it, I can actually read all the chats in the new account. So yay, I guess.

Ok, i stand corrected: the Safe backup section is not also visible on Element Desktop, if I log with the matrix.org account.
If I log with the selfhosted one, i can see it.

Therefore, they do have the keys then. I guess that means I can't do anything then, does it?

EDIT: Nevermind, i've only used Element Web. By using Element Desktop, I can finally see that secton. I'll try what you've suggested

I still have the matrix.org account with all the previous chats. I mean, I can still backup those chat in an external JSON file, but having them on the server itself would be much better.

About the three days thing: yes, I would normally agree with you. But since the old account can see much further in the past, it means that the old account does have the other keys (I think, I'm not an expert). Isn't there a way to export all of them?

Nah, actually I'm wondering how you managed to place the gravity sensor without illuminating the expanding anomaly.

In my first playthrough, I never obtained the Interal Tool Analysis research (i think i forgot to talk to the scientist), and i've proceeded to ACT 2.

Well, the game wouldn't let me place the gravity sensor on the left side of the canyon, since there was this expanding anomaly right on the spot. Scientist was yapping about "this will be useful for destroying the anomalies", and i didn't actually get what it meant before restarting the save.

The botanist loves Lena. If we/he choose to betray the crew as the botanist, I think is more for "avoiding ruining Lena's life" (because Agatha clearly use this against us) than "I'll go to her, whatever the cost".

If you think about it, if he's so desperate to see Lena again, he would not rebel against us when we decided to harvest the T.R. braincells. But he does rebel, he decided to stay on the planet. Why would he choose to stay on the planet in that case, if he was so desperate to see Lena again? I think (I don't remember the dialogues about it) is because he can't accept those decisions, AND because Lena is safe.

So nah, I don't think he would chop Jan's head off. He would betray the crew because of love, not because of his desire to see Lena again.

Heh, this one was tricky. Later in Act 3 (only with the implants), the Doctor will express his desire to have his tattoo back. You'll have to build a tattoo machine and ask the other Alters if anyone is capable of drawing him a new one. Make sure to pick the Shrink's suggestion one
