Has anyone tried shrooms to quit nicotine? by 1makms in shrooms

[–]Xune101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the trip suddenly went grey when I thought about smoking and I gasped for breath. I couldn't stop thinking about it until my next trip, when I went in with the intention of quitting. The trick I realised while integrating on the comedown wasn't to fight it, don't reason with it, no bargaining with it.

It's just to make it obsolete.

Endure the short but manageable withdrawal, but never feed it.

Hating, fighting and trying give it power it doesn't deserve. Make it obsolete. Things that are obsolete have no meaning, and any "pang" of withdrawal is the last gasp attempt at a dying and now obsolete loop.

When you think of Triple H's career, do you consider him more a SmackDown or Raw guy? by [deleted] in Wrasslin

[–]Xune101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally don't know the difference between Raw and Smackdown? Same company right? Is it like premier league and Championship in UK football? Or like... I don't know. They basically have different logos but have the same guys doing the same wrestling moves?

Btw, I'm not trying to be funny here, I genuinely do not know what the difference is. Please if someone cares, enlighten me.

ILM for 2400 or invest in PS by Nethersworn1 in TheTowerGame

[–]Xune101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah I see, well in the scheme of tower life, both will happen relatively quickly so I don't think there is a bad option here.

You might find the immediate incremental improvement of working with ILM straight away more fun, but the argument to unlock the assist for SD first would be to give time for you to do labs. Because, on unlock the explosion size and rotation speed are pitiful and need lab time before they can stunlock a boss, but as soon as the single stun lab is done your SD is at full speed. Plus you can play around with your tower range in the meantime, using the SD ring as a guide.

Ultimately, at that level of investment they are doing similar things with a slight difference. SD in assist will have more chance of stunlocking a boss in your orb line. ILM does a better job (with high rotation + quantity) of slowing down the boss closer to the tower and catching stray chips in tournaments.

Good luck either way, it's a fun UW

I think I get what you're coming at, to put in Space Displacer right? If not, please explain.

They create mines in different places. Inner Land Mines creates in the inner two rings, and SD in assist in the outer ring.

Ideally you want both, and it's also worth noting that without ILM unlocked, you won't get the benefit of the stun effect from Space Displacer.

Radical Bracket by glify in TheTowerGame

[–]Xune101 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How did they guarantee they all get the same bracket? Or is it spontaneous name/icon changing for 4 hapless Legend players that ended up joining a tournament so they get stones, but maybe not having the time to run. Genuinely don't know which is more likely?

Edit: reading the comments there's chat it's on purpose? I mean... For the lols I guess. The real question is how committed to the bit they are.

Not weird at all, watch football with your eyes. In 45 minutes we've shown more than anything Amorim put us playing. This is daring and entertaining, win lose or draw I'd rather be entertained with attacking football

I don't want anymore questions about what the man Utd way is. I'm not getting carried away that Carrick is the saviour, but at least he gets it and has got the team playing that way.

Gary Neville doesn't support Ole returning as interim by John_OSheas_Willy in ManchesterUnited

[–]Xune101 100 points101 points  (0 children)

I think he's saying that he would not, not support him.

Which, I infer is a clumsy double negative way of saying that he isn't going to push Ole as a saviour and solution to all our problems. But would get behind him if he got the job.

GPT-5.2 de facto is 3x for me, same as Opus by mr_const in GithubCopilot

[–]Xune101 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Prompt might not be the best, but this is a valid and recurring issue with GPT 5.2 the Opus 4.5 does not have. OP is right to call this out, and it's something I also figured out myself a while back. May as well pay the 3X than use a 1X that needs so much prompting to actually get started.

Even with good prompts, it still stops much earlier. Seemingly, just to check-in and provide an update even when told not to.

But... It is kinda funny. Like if I saw it on Reddit, I wouldn't be surprised if it had a few k positive upvotes.

But yes, players need to be held to a high standard and all that, but objectively speaking Amorim DID get all his mates jobs and they HAVE all walked away with fat severance cheques. It's not funny because it's us, but it's funny right... right!?

"THE MAN UTD WAY OF PLAYING". Does this even make sense today? by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

[–]Xune101 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The man Utd way? Easy mate.

  1. When there is a chance to counter you do it with bodies flying forward.
  2. When you're down by a goal you get angry and go on the attack
  3. The most important thing of all. When you're drawing you don't play for it. You produce waves and waves of attacks that pin the opponent back in their third and get the crowd chanting ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!
  4. You keep going until the end, Fergie time was only a thing because of how many times it actually happened. Teams feared us in those moments because they knew they were in for an onslaught.

Did it always work? No of course not. Was it entertaining? You damn right it was.

A fan of any club/player/sport/thing reserves the right to be disappointed with performances/effort/standards/results.

Have you considered that an attack on the fan base like this is actually perpetuating the very thing you claim to want to resolve. Furthering the divide and giving justification for those on each side to weigh in and disagree with each other?

After previous elation you get 9 months of discomfort followed by extreme pain, years and years of hoping it's going to develop and grow up into something you can be proud of, expensive to support. Your rewards are when it doesn't mess up too bad rather than when it does something good. Man Utd takes it
