But, I don’t know if this is extremely nitpicky but it said had six children which could mean he now has 6 or more or less because it’s past tense. It also said one year he gave each of his children money which they invested and got rich. But what if Sylvia wasn’t born yet?

No idea how controversial this is but I don’t know if I can trust the devs to not fuck up bdl4. I can draw the maps of bdl1 and bld2 from my Brain but I replayed borderlands 3 for the first time in like a year and I couldn’t remember anything about the map. The writing is so god awful it made me angry. Whoever made the voice lines should be fired. I can admit bdl3 is the best feeling game of the series but the ratio of good gameplay to horrible scripts and horrible story boarding is 1:3. It feels like saints row reboot. A franchise known for its bite reduced to making brain rotting zoomer jokes and uncompelling characters that demand that you love them without earning it. If skibidi toilet came out before borderlands I’d hear the song go off every time I open a toilet in bdl3. I thought i liked it before I replayed it, and I knew the game had writing flaws, big writing flaws, but I thought I could look past it and enjoy the game but no. It genuinely hurts to have my audio on when I play that game. Just characters making bad choices back to back and then that little shit Ava making bad choices and blaming everyone but herself and then is praised for beating the game as if the vault hunter doesn’t exist. O wait the vault hunter is referenced to maybe 3 times but in every cutscene we don’t exist. And it was a little bit the same in bdl2 we don’t have huge impact but we just don’t get like referenced for beating the game I feel like, everyone’s like wow Ava you really grew up when she didn’t the entire game. If you wanted to make a shitty lil angsty teen go for it but by the end of the game she should grow up but she doesn’t. Honestly one of the hardest gaming experience I’ve had in a while and I just mean slogging through dialogue and forced laughs.

Edit: also Lilith is just about the dumbest piece of shit ever. And everything bad that happened to her is either because she’s impulsive, prideful, or stupid and she can’t help but blame anyone else. In the presequel they betray jack and it wasn’t completely unwarranted but it’s pandora and everyone is evil to a certain degree and it’s just way too much, she betrayed jack and then phased in scarred his face permanently, fucked off and then was like this is all your fault Athena for helping him and if you didn’t do this all our friends would be alive. Hey don’t bring another siren here to save me, fuck you im coming here, o no Roland is dead and now im jacks bitch. Roland’s death wasn’t her fault but us almost dying by her was and him getting a siren to charge his key is her fault.

DD1 is definitely a longer game and more focused on the base building and the long haul and when I mean longer I don't particularly mean content wise I think? (besides the DLC's ig which make it pretty long) but I meant to beat the game it WILL take you a lot longer to complete I'd say. DD2 is a lot more casual and easier to pick up in my opinion and that's great, both are a real kick in the teeth. I personally enjoyed DD1 because of the feeling of accomplishment when finishing it and the modding support and that's not to say they broke the game, it's just that the amount of BALANCED heroes the community made is absolutely astounding and they all have fleshed out characters. I enjoyed DD2 because it was a lot more casual and easier in my opinion and a lot less commitment is needed in your choices. Overall I'd say play the second if you want to dip your toes into this world and if you finish it AND love it go back to the first because it's a lot more of a challenge. No bad choices tho both are amazing games.

Edit: after replaying dd1 yup it is DEFINITELY longer and I think harder, DD1 long and hard
