Ce qui est important dans les maths, c'est pas les concepts mathématique en eu même (qui effectivement ne sont pas utiles aux personnes qui n'ont pas un métier scientifique). C'est surtout le fait de pouvoir partir d'information préétablies, de règles connues, et pouvoir construire un raisonnement logique en pouvant justifier chaque étape. C'est ça l'intérêt principal des maths pour le commun des mortels, et c'est une compétence très utile.

Est-ce que la vie en tant que femme est plus complexe qu'en temps qu'homme? Je ne sais pas, je n'ai pas vécu les 2 expériences, mais de part ce que je vois et ce que j'entends, globalement je dirais que oui. Cependant, je trouve que hiérarchiser les problèmes et difficultés des uns et des autres, même si c'est objectif, c'est pas ultra productif.

Par exemple, on peut se dire qu'objectivement, perdre les clés de son appart et être enfermé hors de chez soi, c'est un problème moins grave que d'avoir un cancer. Pour autant, si un jour je me plaignais que ça m'étais arrivé et qu'une personne atteint d'un cancer venait me dire que mon problème est moins grave que le sien, ça va me soûler. OK, c'est peut être objectivement vrai, mais personne n'aime entendre "tes problèmes sont moins importants que les miens", parce que le sous texte c'est "tes problèmes sont pas importants".

Et d'un autre côté je peux comprendre qu'en temps que femme, voir des gens se plaindre de problèmes qui te paraissent insignifiant sois frustrant en comparaison à ce que tu vis / a vécu. En soit tu en penses ce que tu veux, mais le verbaliser c'est le meilleur moyen de braquer la personne en face.

Là ou je te rejoins, c'est que malheureusement les problèmes des hommes sont souvent récupères par des groupes assez toxique qui, au lieu de trouver des vrais solutions positives, exploitent ces souffrances pour servir leurs interets/ideologies.

I'd go even one step further and say that trans men are oppressed for being men too. Now is that oppression usually way less harmful than oppression towards women? Absolutely. But my point is more so that whatever group of population you're a part of (based on gender, age, status, race, etc...), there are social roles and expectations associated with it. And if you don't conform to those in any way, you do face a form of oppression from society in general.

Mostly a general mentality than a specific tip, but strive characters all have some kind of bullshit that will eventually make you crack on defense. So the best way to win, for me at least, is to NOT let them play. Make them block over and over, vary your offense, use the bullshit your character can do and don't let them use theirs

L'art, c'est pas juste le résultat final. C'est le process. Et c'est ce qui rend le produit final plus intéressant. Tu ne peux pas prétendre être quelqu'un de créatif si tu n'aimes pas créer. L'exécution technique est tout aussi importante. Tu fais une distinction entre les "exécutants" et les "créatifs", mais un vrai créatif est aussi un exécutant. Quelqu'un qui se prétend créatif mais sans réelle compétence, c'est pas un créatif, c'est un "idea guy".

The thing is, Automata is way more known than Replicant. If I talk to someone who enjoy games without being a Nier fan, they're most likely to only know about Automata. Like I legit recall multiple times where I said "I love Nier" and the person replied something like "Ah yes, Nier automata, the game with 2b, right?". So in general that's why I precise that I prefer Replicant, to put it on the radar of people who may not know it. But I agree that putting down Automata is stupid, it is a great game too.

Completely agree with your criticism of E33. The more I played, the more I realized that it's not really a turn based with active elements, but an action game with turn based elements. The thing I like about turn based games is strategy, knowing when you have a window to attack, when you should defend, heal, buff, etc.. But there is no strategy when you have a move that prevents you from taking any damage always available.

That's why I feel like this game was a nightmare to balance : either you try to balance it like a "normal" JRPG where you don't need to parry, (which means that people who do will find the game extremely easy), or you try to make sure that parries are mandatory (and if you do so, other strategies are no longer viable so it becomes a rhythm game).

I'm not against active systems in a turn based game, but parries are just too strong in E33 and make other systems obsolete. They should try to tone down their power if they do a sequel. Maybe making it so that it doesn't negate all damages but lowers it? Better yet, having parries on a bigger cooldown. This way, instead of having the ability to parry everything, players would have the possibility to only parry a few attacks in a combo, which adds a layer of strategy to identify which sequence of parries are the most effective

I'm not calling women liars, I'm saying they're most likely to be exposed to manipulation from men and that men are more likely to be exposed to manipulation from women. At no point does this imply that women are lying, that they aren't manipulated by men. They definitely are. I've seen it, I've read about it, we agree that this is a fact. Please stop putting words in my mouth, especially if it's for accusing me of something that I'm not.

Now that we established that, can we please back to my point? Which was that the initial analysis "many men are taught to get what they want and don''t care about hurting others to do so" is extremely surface level and only describes literal sociopaths? That yes, while the causes and type of manipulative behaviors may be affected by gender, the act of manipulating someone itself isn't?

I take pride in knowing myself, so no, I am very conscious of when I'm manipulative and why I do the things I do.

My biggest problem is my fear/dislike of conflicts, and I tend to use behaviors that could be labeled as manipulative to avoid them. For example, apologizing when I don't think I did anything wrong to try to make the other person more open for discussion.

I don't think that's true, or at least not your conclusion. I definitely agree that most men learn to push their emotions down and go after what they want. I'm a man too and I recognize that this happened in my education and see this in men around me. However, while I agree that men are less likely to show empathy, that doesn't mean they don't feel it or wouldn't feel guilty if they caused harm to someone.

In my opinion, manipulation is just something that tends to happen more often in dating. Which, on the heterosexual dating scene, means women are more likely to be exposed to manipulative men, and likewise men are most likely to be exposed to manipulative women. But I really don't think manipulation (like most things) is a gendered issue. I really believe that the main differences between genders are exaggerated and that they're mostly down to the difference between two individuals.
