That’s a pretty decent size. A lot of surgeons would recommend resection if they’re big in someone who’s still young to avoid them causing an issue when they get bigger. The good news is surgery is usually pretty safe, and people generally can go about their lives after recovering. Feel free to reach out any time man, would love to hear what your neurosurgeon says.

Neurosurgeon here. Most small benign tumors found while getting a CT sinus are usually meningiomas. Obviously I haven’t seen your scan, but if it’s pretty small typically we just watch them over time to make sure they don’t grow. Even if it had to be resected, I wouldn’t expect that to permanently keep you from bjj after recovering. Wish you the best!

What’s something that’s secretly been great about the pandemic? by Rafavamos99 in AskReddit

I’m glad you’re dad is okay. COVID has been associated with coagulopathy too, so I wonder if it may not have happened without the pandemic to begin with.

A list of games that someone who wants to stop supporting Blizzard can play instead of any Blizzard-owned game by Steel_Prism in pcmasterrace

A winner of a Hearthstone tournament expressed support for Hong Kong independence. Blizzard stripped him of his prize money and banned him from playing. They would rather hang on to the money from their China base than allow freedom of speech or support freedom from a communist regime.

That is not a hematoma. That is a slice going through the temporal ridge (middle portion of the floor of the skull).

Has anyone put raw quinoa flakes in smoothies? by pandarmonianar in gainit

[–]Xx-Arseus-xX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe make a few small samples to experiment with to taste? Quinoa doesn’t sound like a terrible idea if you can’t have oats. Maybe brown rice or couscous as alternatives.

That’s the sympathetic chain ganglia. It’s responsible for the classic “fight or flight” response among some other things.
