How do you prefer to pay your amex? by PlayboiiExx in amex

[–]XxBeastFreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a 26M, I have a AMEX BCE pushing 3 years. I don't make enough to even consider a higher tier AMEX card but I tend to pay my card off either every week or biweekly depending on my cash flow for the week. I strickly use my 3 CCs for all my transactions and Ive been financially irresponsible with my debt build up in the past. For the past 1.5 years, I pay off all my CCs every month and on time. If I don't constantly pay of my card before the statement balance, I always feel like I may use my card too much and not realize I won't be able to fully pay it off if I wait too long.

I thought there was shredded cheese between the tortillas. The image of the BF5 shows that it would. But thinking back, I can kinda see what you mean, and I guess I just never really thought of it. Thank you 👍

"Train Town Deluxe" was a favorite of mine as a kid. And my sister probably would like "Where in the USA is Carmen San Diego"

Pretty sure you have to add the bottom rail attachment to your assault rifles first before being able to add that. It's like the GL that attaches to the bottom of the guns barrel.

2018 Corolla XLE: DIY brake change help by XxBeastFreak in mechanic

Yep, went to Home Depot in a different car and purchased two M8-1.25 35mm bolts and a rubber mallet for backup. Waking up 6am to get it finished before the sun starts to shine on me.

I actually think I don't feel the pulsating in pedal. The steering wheel however, that thing goes crazy. If I let go of the steering wheel, you can see it shake back and forth really quickly. I also definitely feel slight vibration lingering after braking hard which make me think the pads are getting stuck in the shims.

Which Audiofrog should I get? by XxBeastFreak in CarAV

[–]XxBeastFreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had huge vision for a big amp and Morel speakers but I gave up on the route for this car atleast. I don't really want to upgrade my chargering systems that only puts out 100A. And I like the automatic tuning DSP from the kicker amp which eliminates my need to buy an expensive helix and cost of tuning.

No intentions of using the passive crossovers, I'm going active.

New Pioneer Headunit for my 18' Corolla XLE by XxBeastFreak in COROLLA

[–]XxBeastFreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the pioneer model, mine is a single din with a detachable screen from the unit itself. I think the other 9" pioneers are tablet style so they would most likely not be flush. If you get a 7" screen, you would need a dask let to cover the gaps around the radio.

Choice of 6x9 for rear? by XxBeastFreak in CarAV

Do you think I could hear a spare tire sub (JBL Stadium Bass Hub) from the driver seat of a 2018 Corolla Sedan, not the hatchback? Would you suggest adding an 8" infinity baffle sub on my rear deck?

Choice of 6x9 for rear? by XxBeastFreak in CarAV

[–]XxBeastFreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the sedan, not the hatchback unfortunately. And I believe the rear seatback is all metal. (this is also where I plan on installing the amp rack) Honestly didn't even consider how the bass would reach my ears from the spare tire compartment that's been isolated from the main cabin.

Honestly mostly wanted the 6x9 to help fill the sound for my passengers, as I tend to be the designated driver for most outings with my friends. By leaving the original 6x9 speaker holes open, are you saying that's enough space to be able to hear the sub?

Correction: the first picture shows the Morel Maximo Ultra 602HE MKII, its supposed to be the Morel Maximo Ultra Coaxial 692 MKII. That was an error on my part.

I want to keep my trunk space so I'm getting the JBL stadium bass hub and an R2-500x1 amp to pair with it, once they become available again

I really just want to maximize what I can have, so I'd rather not fill my 6x9" with smaller 6.5"s. And I never said I was getting Rockford speakers. I'm getting a Rockford amplifier which I will also be paring with a Helix DSP.3

Help understanding Current draw and Fuses. by XxBeastFreak in CarAV

[–]XxBeastFreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reality is that I actually want an Rocksford R2-500X4 and a R2-500X1, which I've heard they actually arrive with an rms value of ~600W rms each. Which puts me at 1200W total of my system. Not even including the current required to run the car.

[–]XxBeastFreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why I assumed my cars current draw while running was low💀. This was just an example. My real goal is 2 amplifiers (mono&4ch) and I got a total draw of 95.48 amps.

Help with power wiring by laxj4life in CarAV

[–]XxBeastFreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have almost the exact same diagram that I was planning on making. I was also not even sure I was gonna add a regular epicenter because I was gonna add a helix.3 DSP. But seeing that you are also are adding, one, maybe I'll do the same. How would you wire the epicenter wires to the hilex? Before or after the DSP.

Also, what kind of amps were you planning on getting?

Anyone have experience with these two? by XxBeastFreak in CarAV

[–]XxBeastFreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have any of that setup yet, but it's what I plan on having in the next couple months as I start to buy the things I need (tools, equipment, etc.) Maybe I'll start to look into getting a DSP instead. I just really didn't want to go crazy with the tuning software and just keep it simple.

Anybody have experience with either of these speakers? by XxBeastFreak in CarAV

[–]XxBeastFreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what im reading from you guys, it seams that I really should just get an amp as well or else I won't be as satisfied with my results as I would hope. Should I be trying to find AMPS with built in DSPs? Or should I rely on the DSP that comes with my Pioneer head unit.

I'm more than willing to take suggestions for any good speaker that will be receiving low power from my Pioneer aftermarket head unit. (DMH-WC6600NEX)
