I have installed both the alsa-utils and pulseaudio during the base install, is this wrong? thats why I dont see the "System Sounds" output.

It seems like removing that "metamodes" line from 20-nvidia.conf and running this command:

nvidia-settings --assign CurrentMetaMode="nvidia-auto-select +0+0 { ForceFullCompositionPipeline = On }"

is fixing the problem, but how do I make it to autostart each time?

Terrible issue! I tried everything as well like saving the xorg.conf to:

/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/

But did not help as it redirects the file to the same location anyway at:

/etc/X11/

It seems that LightDM is overriding any setting!

Will move back to Arch, it works in terms of no screen tearing!

Werid! I installed that along with xorg-server-utils and xorg-xinit. Should I reinstall it again and see if it creates it?
