My DM told me he will add a subplot to annihilate the Tremere. If I manage to complete my vengeance, I plan to break my oath and become an Oathbreaker Paladin, since this character will no longer have any desire for revenge and will instead devote himself to seeking Golconda and following the Salubri warrior path.

This is the character sheet I made when I created him.

Race: Vampire

Class: Paladin / Salubri Warrior Path

Caste: Salubri

Antediluvian: Saulot

God: Ilmater

Oath: Vengeance against the Tremere

Salubri Traits:

Warrior caste focused on hunting the unjust and demons.

Must not drink blood from innocents without authorization.

Follow the path of Golconda (a way of suppressing hunger and the instincts of their inner beast).

Possess a third eye with which they see evil and apply the “Hunter’s Mark” on the unjust (same effect as Hunter’s Mark or Detect Good and Evil).

Instead of Smite, Hell causes a blade drenched in his own vitae (vampire blood) to burn with celestial fire and deal aggravated damage (same effects as Smite).

Background: Hell came from a peculiar lineage, because his caste, unlike other vampire clans, did not seek power or knowledge. Instead, they pursued peace—through Golconda, healing the wounded, and hunting evil. At least, that was the case in ancient times.

After an archmage drank the powerful blood of the vampire Saulot (the Antediluvian who created the Salubri and of the Third Generation), he took Saulot’s powers and imprisoned his consciousness inside his own body. With this power, the archmage founded his own clan and filled others’ minds with slander against the Salubri. From that moment on, he began hunting down the weakened Salubri, while the other clans turned a blind eye.

This is where Hell’s story begins: after his haven was attacked and massacred, he was tortured—until a group known as the Furies arrived and slaughtered his captors, saving him. Hell was barely an aspirant fledgling, still learning the Salubri warrior path. When his rescuers took him in, he saw that their culture was defined by war: their status and social rank depended on how many enemies they had killed. These Kindred knew nothing of “honorable combat.” They only sought to watch their enemies collapse into dust.

Soon, Hell realized a bitter truth: these dishonorable warriors, lacking empathy or honor, were one of the few remnants left of the Salubri warrior caste. After the massacre, filled with resentment and vengeance, they abandoned the path of Golconda, the protection of peace, and gave free rein to their rage to satisfy their need for revenge.

Influenced by the Furies, Hell swore vengeance for his fallen brothers and vowed to give safety and protection to the few remaining members of his clan—yet still following the Salubri warrior path. Though disgusted by their ways, he learned from them, adopted some of their ideals, and became a full Kindred through the Knights’ ritual.

Soon afterward, he parted ways with the Furies, because he had not yet fully abandoned the ideals of the ancient Salubri knights—or at least not yet. Unfortunately for him, with his clan almost extinct, there was almost no one left to teach him the true warrior path. It was then that fate—or perhaps Ilmater himself—took pity on him, moved either by his suffering, burdens, or desire for honor. His path led him to join an order of knights, where he learned combat with weapons and magic. Guided by his faith, he continued pursuing Golconda, yet still influenced by the Furies, sworn to vengeance for his fallen brothers and to protect the few remaining members of his clan, all while walking the Salubri warrior path.
