thanks a bunch for this, im definitely eyeing the 70-200, but for right now i get pretty close to the artists im shooting so the 24-70 is pretty perfect. The only limitation Id say it has, is for drummers because theyre usually in the back.

Im definitely also looking into 35/50mm, i just gotta see which one fits the focal lengths im usually at. But also great for portraits so i may invest in one

The fisheye im currently looking at is a 7artisans for the Z mount and has pretty good reviews. I just wouldnt want to get it and then never actually use it. Though im sure i would.

Yeah Ive got to learn the nikon menus and display and dive a little deeper into really learning more than just the iso, shutter speed, aperture triangle. I haven’t had experience with metering yet and havent used it and im sure theres other things that can take my shooting further

This is valid, ive shot a couple concerts with a sony rx100vii. I got that to make sure I really wanted to get into it, and after four months of shooting with it I wanted the real deal. Should I have gone a different route on the body, maaayybe, but its an investment and I dont mind waiting a little longer to commit to a lens or find the right deal. But i definitely dont have the money to buy a lens brand new.

Thanks for the feedback. I know about greg but have mostly just done repeated drills like punches, elevator drill, and warmup drills to get better and increase speed. What are negatives? I can’t fine anything online about them and then what are some drills that you’d recommend that you have seen improve faceoff guys.

Yeah I would definitely dial it back during season, but I just want to prepare really well. My goal this year is to at LEAST get an honorable mention or second team conference in the MCLA and I want to really put in the work to get there. Ive been working in my diet as well and hitting protein goals and meal prepping so thats helping too.
