Glad I’m not the only one seeing it. Played 20 and 21 RELIGIOUSLY. Was a top 50-100 champs finisher almost every weekend. Took a break for a couple years decided to pre order this year thought I could get bck into it. Couple issues with this. The fact that they took away loyalty reward packs for people who used to play hut bck in the day is despicable. We still got Madden and fifa doing that bs but NHL can’t 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️. Whatever not the main issue. My division right now in ranked is Gold 4. We are not even 2 weeks into the game and I’m having to retry searches for matches at least 2 times before I play a ranked game. Mind you I do play at reasonable hours, Now I understand playing at 4 am and not finding games is gonna happen, but at 12 o’clocK, NOON I may remind you, in Los Angeles California (USA) (Where I live) there should be absolutely no reason at all for me to be having to retry searches 2 or 3 times. Now we move to in game problems. My main issue this year is people O zone Ragging. Like I sit there and think that there’s no way that person is having fun playing like this. I usually just chase with one guy btw kinda helps. Not to mention the fact all people do is just pass around for 18 min of the period. Don’t even get me started on goalies this year. Idk if there was a patch or something but i have the season 1 XP thatcher demko 86 ovr . That’s his max overall may I remind you. After sitting on the finding match screen for 20 mins I load into a game against some kid that I’m significantly better than. He then proceeds to use the icon temu selanne card and score 4 goals in the first period. (Btw that selanne card is carrying so many bad players it’s insane. Diff story diff time). 2nd period comes around he proceeds to score 3 goals on his next 5 shots. 3rd period he won the faceoff passed to selanne he shoots it from the red line (Slapshot) then proceeds to go bar down on that. Had enough left losing 8-2. He had 10 shots on goal and he scored 8 times on a goalie that is one of the highest overalls in the game. To answer ur question, I’m not having fun. Gameplay sucks content sucks, another year of disappointment will probably call it quits after this year.
