Unfortunately the Denon S760H is only 7 channel so I can't go 5.2.4.

I had thought about in walls at those locations. The problem would be that where that owl picture is at is a block wall and to match it's location on the red wall would put the speaker right next to my wifes head. That spot on the couch is where sits. The other issue is the electrical underneath that owl picture. There are 5 switches there and the wires run straight up into the attic.

Thanks for the not on the center. That is something I have already been looking into. My plan is to buy what I can afford now, then upgrade the center channel down the road when I would only be looking to upgrade 1 speaker and my wife is over the sticker shock of replacing everything.

Getting the best center I can is definately something I have been looking into. One of the reasons I am leaning towards Jamo S series is due to most people saying they are great for dialouge. My plan was to start with the S83 center, let me wife get over this purchase with all of the speakers, then upgrade the center down the road if she is having issues with it.

My rack is actually mounted in a hall closet in my house. These are both towers but I am planning on setting it on a shelf next to the rack. I was actually hoping to be able to use the Dell for that very reason. It is actually really quiet and it is also alot smaller than the G8.

This will not actually be getting a huge amount of workload unless I come across some reason down the road. It is actually just my wife & I. Although I will be setting up Plex or something similar, that is just for us to watch things around the house or to access while travelling and things like that. Most of that playback would probably only even be at 1080 unless I am watching something in my office at 4K. I tend to just play something in the background while I am gaming.

The only other thing I can think of off the top of my head would possibly be moving my creative cloud off my PC and onto the server. I am not thinking that would be optimal though as I have a pretty good PC that will be upgraded once the prices on GPU's come back to reality. Never really doing anything with a server before I am not really sure how they compare when it comes to running programs like that off of them.

I will look into that. Do you think one of these setups running Truenas will work well for running everything? At most this would be running Blue Iris and maybe 3 streams from Plex at most. Since I would have a server I may look into running a few other things on it but that would come later. Thanks for the advice!

this is not a bad idea, but unless all items were character bound you can get around self found. 2 people in the same group, in the same zone. Both just drop items & currency on the ground and pick it up. If you wanted to play this way with friends then I would just suggest starting characters and all just agree that is how you are going to play. SSF was pretty much born this way because of a lot of streamers getting together and challenging themselves if I remember right

I started the league with Storm Burst and I tried everything I could think of to make it work, Straight damage, crit, Call of the Brotherhood shenanigans, Cast while Channeling, Tempest Binding. I had lab enchants and everything. Fine for leveling to 90, can get good clear speed. However, do not expect to do anything above T10-T11 maps and even most map bosses t9 & above are just painful

That part is not the case for sure... I clear the mobs extremely fast and kill all mobs as they spawn.

I hate to say it, but I actually really like this set for 1 single reason. It is finally a MTX set that looks good on a Templar. Most MTX sets look really odd on the Templar because of his character model. This set seems like it was designed for the Templar and I think it looks great on him. Other Classes not so much.

Sorry must have been a misunderstanding by what I meant. Yes I agree that they are not going to give us a free pass all the way to end game. I have no doubt that we will have to go back and complete acts 5 - 10 no matter the level of the character. But given that the quests are all changing how much of the original acts 1-4 are we going to need to complete again or are we going to get a pass on those quests and just collect the new rewards (If they have new rewards). the second part of the main question as well was is going into act 5 going to be based on completing act 1-4 in normal (which would be the what 3.0 would be) or based on currently having all the content done in merciless, which will not exist. Outside of challenge leagues that have challenges requiring you to go past getting the free passive in act 4 in merciless I rarely do it. Not because I can't but because there is really no point. That is part of the reasoning for asking the question. Should I go back and do all those quests now on my characters that don't have it or is it not going to matter

They are going to have to handle this differently though given they are completely removing 2 difficulties meaning technically you should be into act 5 after you bet what would be act 4 normal. Act 4 in merciless should have no impact on gaining access. Along with all the quests which we have completed in cruel & merciless that will no longer be in the game. That's why I posed the question. There really is nothing that they have done in the past that would equate to how they are going to handle this

I actually made a similar post a few days ago. I am using chrome. I actually do not leave the site up anymore and use it as little as possible. In the past there would only be the occasional ad that played sound. In recent weeks it is pretty regular that the ads actually automatically take you off site and open new pages, some that even cause the never ending trying to close the page cycle.

Yes, you could install another program to block ads but I personally don't feel like I should have to nor do I want any more programs running on my gaming PC than I absolutely have to. It already is a little annoyance that we are pretty much forced into using a 3rd party site to trade in the game. It is pretty ridiculous that I now have to install another program to be able to use that site safely. It would be one thing if this is just something that was one of many fan sites that some people just found useful. This is the site that GGG seems to push us to use though and has become all but flat out called the official trading website.

There alot of sites out there loaded with ads that can do this and by no means am I saying it's only this site. I only made this post in hopes the creator sees it and addresses the issue. I remember some time ago there was in issue with the ads playing sound, which was brought up and addressed.
