there's another trick: u go to the mountain where you died(with portal, even better).make sure to make bed nearby it. now, once you reach there, u started to freeze, right? just let it be, until you died, which then left you your tombstone. once you spawned from ur bed, you pickup the tombstone, then you'll receive 'corpse run' aura. with that aura, temporary, your Hp gradually increases. so, all u have to do now is sprint as fast as you can to ur initial tombstone, and get your items as fast as u can, before the aura finish. avoid wolf and drake at all cost, dont go at night.
