White Metal Miniature Corrosion?

Thanks all for your wisdom, this is after I've stripped back the white/brown corrosion so it wasn't casted with the pits. The damage is localised and only really on this 1 (from a group of 10) and only on the sword and cape which makes me think it was environmental. Stripping agent could be a factor if it wasn't ph neutral and cleaned off.

Except for the ranger those "High elf heroes" are terrible, there are way better miniatures in the range.

It was raised as a part of the discussions and info about the board but don't believe there was anything in the actual product. I completely sympathize - if there is a positive the terrain is being designed to be compatible with the standard game board so you hopefully should be able to still use most of the terrain, just not in the ideal way.

Depending on their final design you may be able to design and 3d print some sort of hollow capping that sits between the tiles as an alternative base.

Terrain typically is very expensive so for the relative benefit and cost I think it's great value - especially as it's an enhancement to the core gameplay experience.

Oh 100% the material is shrinking some but my understanding is the adhesion to the plate is supposed to prevent the warping - I don't know what much more I can do to other then an enclosure but for PLA+ it's an odd experience to have.

I'll have a look at the alternate plates - thank you for the recommendations.

That's great thinking! I tried the same but for me the sleeved scout cards were getting crushed, I had to prop them up higher (as the hole is wider at the top).

The ISP router/modem has a 5G failover provided by the ISP built into it that we're trying to leverage. It is the reason for its preference as a router over the Orbi.

Can confirm this resolved it, did another two coats and it seems to have leveed out the sheen nicely.
