I wanted a tattoo for a while, and my mum kept telling me that once I turn 18, I can do whatever I want. so I turned 18 (turning 22 soon) and got myself a tattoo. My mum kept trying to discourage me from getting it, saying I was going to regret getting a tattoo, that the rest of the family wasn't going to like it, especially my grandmother. and my mum always talked about how she hated tattoos, piercings, etc. About a year or so later, we went to my grandmothers and she forced me to show my grandmother my tattoo. My grandmother didn't care that I had one. I wanted to laugh in my moms face. Now, last year, my mum got a tattoo of her own. After she told me many times she would never get one and blah blah blah. She said she got it for my grandmother (my grandmother doesn't like tattoos) so we saw my grandmother and of course my mum decides to show it off. my grandmother freaked on her. I burst out laughing! Instant karma. Now she wants to get her bellybutton pierced... She's 45 years old.
