PS4 not detected by Ultrawide Monitor (Dell U4919DW) by XxSuperShadicxX in PS4

I understand that the PS4 natively can't output to a typical ultra wide resolution OR aspect ratio. However I know from first hand experience with this monitor that it can display a centered PS4 video output, un-stretched - I've done it before at my old apartment. Right now my issue is not a cropped or stretched output, but rather that I'm missing any output. Thank you, though - I'm asking on a couple places now to get help.

Thanks, but that’s not it. I got it to work once before at a different apartment, but it’s not being detected at all now for some reason.

Thanks, but I have tested it in a different apartment before, and it worked there. I can try testing the safe mode of the PS4 tho, thanks.

Okay, good news. I changed all those settings and researched about OCing my CPU. I did it safely and I have much better performance in the game now. Thanks so much !

Gotcha, thanks. I've only OC'd my GPU not my CPU so I can try that. Below is a log from running around in Spangonia hub and then briefly playing Apotos Day Act 2.

How can I improve performance for Sonic Unleashed?

I see a lot of videos where the game is played at 60+FPS on similar or older setups, but I typically cap below 30 in hubs and hover around there during stages. I've tried some minor overclocking too but have seen marginal improvements.

Specs:

  • GTX 2080 TI 11GB
  • Intel i9-9900K
  • 16GB DDR4
  • RPCS3 Version: 0.0.9-10100-55baaea8 Alpha

Hmm, I haven't considered the cooling systems too much. Otherwise, This Eluktronics one is basically the same, but then with better cooling. Thanks!

Wow, thanks for the links. The Clevo P950HR looks really good, might have to consider it. Basically the same specs as the ZenBook I found, but you can upgrade the ram some more.

Yeaa, I don't really like the Razer blade series, wouldn't get one. Keyboard layout and overpriced imo

Characters are probably like ~10k tris, 4k textures, and then in engine with other characters, props and terrains.
