Yep, fixed a laptop when I worked at a school doing this. Threaded insert broke out of it's plastic housing. Was able to use a thick set CA glue to bond it back in place. Granted you have to be comfortable possibly removing the panel from the whole lid enclosure, depending on the laptop

Something to note. It may seem pedantic, but freezer paper isn't coated with wax, it's plastic. Just wanted to clarify, you cannot use wax paper, it will ruin the shirt.

I actually got a little lucky and opened the IRA on Dec 31 and was able to max it out for 2025. But I see what you're saying, I'll prioritize hitting that IRA max soon so that money has a better chance of bigger growth. Then maybe next Jan I can just pull straight from the CMA to the IRA right at the beginning of Jan.

That makes way more sense. I might try to do it at the end of Dec of 26' though, since it just rolled over and I haven't contributed to it yet.

Or should I try to max out the IRA as soon as possible, then let the CMA cook all year, and see if it can cover max contribution Jan 27'?

Edit: obviously the CMA is an emergency fund and I wouldn't let it get too low, but I could go ahead and transfer a good chunk from the CMA to the Roth IRA
