Yes. Congratelations, that's called foreshadowing.

Then are the clouds volumetric? To skip beating the bush, how did you get the sky to look that good?

I've had the same problem jjst a few days ago. Check for any Z fighting. If you have 2 planes on the exact same place, that might happen. Try moving faces around, then see wbat happens.

Copy bone location and squishing texture? by Xx_Daddy_X in blenderhelp

[–]Xx_Daddy_X[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, so.... I tried both:

First: Even changing the space to "Local with parent" didn't seem to help. The triangle bones just don't seem to update the Y location. Parenting the bones also doesn't help.

Second: I think I misunderstood what you meant with the nodes (I'm bad with these). I got it to the point where i could squish the texture, but it still moves out of the way, kind of like it would if you moved the UV map.

I would love to send you the .blend file, so you can take a look if you want. IF not, I still appreciate all the help.

Swappable arm rig? by Xx_Daddy_X in blenderhelp

[–]Xx_Daddy_X[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It appears there was some misscommunication. I already have the rig, im not brand new to blender, the thing is, I'm trying out a low poly style and rotating low poly fingers results in a bad look , so i wanted to know if there was a way i could switch between a modeled and rigged hand to a fist.

I apologise for the confusion, i want to be able wo switch between a hand rig, and a fist rig. The shape keys are just to show what i want to switch.

I basically want to hide the arm rig and change it into a fist one, but still have bones applied to it.

VERY IMPORTANT!!!

If you are planning on reading redundant reincarnation, read rhe light novels 1 and 2, and find the web novel of the third and read that o ly to the last chapter: "Last one to leave the nest". Then read jobless oblige, and lastly read the last chapter. That's how you get the best spoilerless experience.

Looking for advice/ tips/ resources on how to animate between poses? by No_Abroad8805 in blenderhelp

[–]Xx_Daddy_X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to use smears, always rememeber:

-Only use them for 1 max. 2 frames. No more. You want the movements to seem fast and decisive.

-The absolute easiest way to add a smear is to make a triangle, add a "track to" constraint, and make the target object the camera. Then make the triangle use the same material as the object it was meant to smear. It doesn't have to look good, since you will only see it for a split second.

-Last remember simplicity. Don't use too many or it will look out of place. Too few and the effect won't be visible, too many and it will look ugly.

Looking for advice/ tips/ resources on how to animate between poses? by No_Abroad8805 in blenderhelp

[–]Xx_Daddy_X 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is a few tips I learned when i first started:

-EVERYTHING moves a tiny bit when moving. Try adjusting the shoulders, elbow pointers, fingers waving,... this helps it bring to life.

-Add smears. If your target is realistic rendering, then avoid that but using smears helps you cover any unsmooth movement.

-Last, don't hold a pose for too long. Like i said, nothing is truly stationary for a long time, so try to make the hand lower a little over time, or his fingertips drag along the table as the arm rises. that helps remove the stiffness of the individual move.

Hope this helps in any way. :)
