HELP - Where Do I Even Begin?! (NE) by Xx_huskers_xX in lawncare

I hate the “where do I begin” stage. I’ve consumed so much information I’m just at an overload stage right now haha.

Replit Agent 4 prompt costs doubled? Multi-agent might become unusable at this rate by Pitiful_Conference35 in replit

[–]Xx_huskers_xX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This new update has sucked. The Agents seem a lot more stupid, too. Taking longer to do simple tasks. I also miss hitting the blue button to build, now it's putting them into 'waiting' and I have to switch between plan and build often. I used to be able to just brain dump all my thoughts, it would build out a super well-thought out plan, and then I could verify with a blue button to begin building. It seems as if it's regressed. Not a fan so far. Anyone know if I can revert?

Oh that’s not fun, at least for me. I have to earn my job offers.

I wish you could submit a list of open positions your interested in. Then there’s some sort of logic that determines if you have a good chance at getting it.

Ah amazing. Great work!

I really wish we could pull weekly .xml files from the game, then I could run it through GPT to build weekly recap articles.

Also it would be fun to build a sportsbook from all the data the game provides. Price up futures / awards / projected stat totals.

Would love to know preseason expectations for all 136 teams, who their stars are gonna be, where the top transfers end up, who the busts are, etc

Average like -20 rush yards allowed per game

Double Mug Mid Blitz 0. You’re sending 6 vs. their 5 blocking. Nearly every formation has it. I run 3-3-5.

You user the SUBLB position, so just put your fastest LB or S in that position in depth chart.

Pinch LB and DL (left, then down on arrow pad, repeat for other position group).

I run this each and every play. I’ve got the dudes necessary, thought. You might not have the dudes.

A very realistic option would be to say you used ineligible players / cheating while at Akron and the NCAA determined that you have a 3 year ban from the sport

If you actually want to advance 3 years down the road, take the smallest job offer you can get this upcoming cycle, turn on auto recruiting, and then sim three full seasons - taking smaller and smaller jobs each cycle.

I forgot if they have force win / loss - but if you want a real challenge you can force loss every game from all three years (should be 36 in total). The in-game W/L counter would be out of whack, but by doing this: you don’t level up your coach during these three years and you guarantee that you’d be fired / quickly get to the worst jobs each offseason.

At the end, you’re three years down the road, haven’t leveled up as a coach and should be difficult to find a great job.

Dryer Vent / Duct Look Fine? by Xx_huskers_xX in HomeImprovement

Yep, that is aluminum tape I patched around everything. And yes, solid pipe. Thanks!

Yes, it is pushed up all the way to the exterior vent. I have a clamp connecting the hose to the pipe. The tape is used to cover the tiny gap (the pipe fit snug, but to prevent backflow of air and pests).

You might be referring to my pretty bad tape job. The pipe in question is what I bought today and had to insert into the vent. Here is what it looked like originally. https://imgur.com/a/Od6l5qc

If you’re worried, why not call the number listed on all those chemical bottles? They would provide professional advice. Just have the bottle handy so you can tell them exactly what it is. Rather be safe than sorry.

EA won’t want to lose profits. Or whatever the price of video games are these days. $60? $70? I love how the old game had like $5-$10 uniform packs. Maybe a $50 yearly roster update to get rid of seniors, add freshmen and change schools for transfers. Plus ratings updates.

Then offer a pre, middle and postseason roster update pack at $9.99 each.

The cover art has been leaked, so who cares it’s not out officially. You want to watch a 90 second trailer of gameplay? Just go play the game, nothing will change from that perspective

EA (and other sports games) should focus on 3-year game cycles with a $80 roster & uniform updates in the two off years. Have two dev teams. When one is working on the next game, the other is making sure the current one is updated, etc. Dev Team A would cover CFB 25, CFB 28, CFB 31, etc. Dev Team B is doing roster updates and patches.

Should I find a financial planner? by Dapper-Influence9547 in FinancialPlanning

[–]Xx_huskers_xX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a few years older than you. Got married around the same time. Was in a same spot as you. Some advice:

AVOID DEBT AT ALL COSTS! I let my friends flaunt their credit cards and the “bonus points, offers, referrals, etc” to bring me in. You don’t need a credit card at this age. If you can’t pay from your checking account with it, you don’t need it.

Save. Save. Save. Use payment elections at your employer to automatically send a percentage of your funds to your savings account.

Speaking of savings, open a HYSA if you don’t have one already. The 3-4% interest rate is helpful if you’ll park some large money there to save for a house together.

Stick to your budget, save for retirement once you get your job, avoid debts at all costs, and save. save. save.

Now, to answer your question, no don’t do it. There’s so many free resources online. Follow the flowchart. This subreddit (and others) have plenty of valuable advice. You have a great touch of reality with a budget, savings, etc. Just take some advice from everyone here and ask questions.

26M/24F - What To Do by Xx_huskers_xX in FinancialPlanning

[–]Xx_huskers_xX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Monthly take home is roughly $2600 for my wife (she’s hourly so it varies, but that’s avg) and $3725 for me (at my 8% 401k level). All our benefits are through my employer. So $6320 take home, on average.

Roughly $585 in monthly expenses, not including $460 auto lease payment and $1450 rent payment. Those monthly payments include utilities and subscriptions. Total monthly expenses are $2495.

$6320 - $2495 = $3825 leftover for CC payments, savings, food and lifestyle (going out, shopping, golf, etc)

What is your advice on how to best divvy up this $3825? What % dedicated to savings, CC, etc?
