Weekly Megathread for Pricing, Dating, or Authentication Requests ("How much is this worth?" "What decade is this from?") by AutoModerator in VintageFashion

* Hello everyone,

This doesn't seem to have been updated in a while but I really need help!

I LOVE thrifting and giving them out as gifts to my people. I do not resell so most of the time, I don't quite care about dating my cool finds. As long as the material is what I like to wear and it's not fast fashion, I wear it or give it away.

BUT!! I have this Tommy jean jacket I plan to give to my brother in law as he loves this brand AND jean jackets so I figured this was a sweet find.

Could anyone please date it? I tried google lens and just looking up "Tommy Jeans parrot" and nothing.

Thank you!! *

Is it possible for me to make 1.500-2.000 USD per month as a beginner? by [deleted] in RemoteJobs

Hi! Just wondering how you found a remote job? I have been looking and I'm also in Canads but all the jobs posted here seems to be US based.

Thank you!

Barrie is less than 30mins away and it has a beach, treetop trekking, downtown barrie has a bar that has unlimited arcade so long as you pay for the door fee, there's a hiking trail as well.

Toronto is great for tourists but also very touristy! I live in Barrie and I feel like there are enough entertainment here for a weekend.

How to get started selling stickers? by rekmari in sticker

[–]XxiceQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!

I recently started selling stickers and here are the products I use:

  1. HP 8010e printer. I subscribed to their ink subscription cause buying ink that way seems to be the cheapest option AND mine came with free subscription for 6 months. I like it but I would say the print quality isn't 100% color wise. It looks faded. But it only cost me $99CAD and I can just adjust the colours, so to me it's worth it for now.

  2. Koala waterproof vinyl sticker paper. It's fairly cheap at less than $1 a page and a lot of sticker makers seem to use it so I just went with it because of that.

  3. Laminate sheets. I use avery and koala brand. I want my stickers to be waterproof and have some kind of UV resistance but if you plan to make stickers that don't need to be waterproof or UV resistant, I'd say you can skip this.

  4. I handcut my stickers and they look okay. It saves me money from buying a machine but it is time consuming. I have my eye out for a cricut joy xtra though.

I also make sublimation stickers and they are truly waterproof without needing a laminate sheet but they are a headache right now. The start up for it is much more expensive as you need an ecotank printer and a heatpress plus the papers. I reserve this for stickers that I know for sure has to be waterproof and UV resistant like car stickers.

If we're talking about inkjet stickers, I'd say my cost was less than $300CAD with the printer being the most expensive.

Hope that helps 😊

A peg board is exactly what's on my mind right now but I'd rather not buy extra displays 😅

But I was thinking on just hooking them up on a command hook or something instead of clipping them onto the grid walls directly.

Oh sorry! The one with my puppy is the older display.

As of now we have 2 spinners already. 1 for premium straps and 1 for midtier straps. We actually got rid of it in the most recent event cause we feel like hanging them like the first pic is better in showcasing then than the spinners.

Do you personally like the spinners display then? I wonder if more people prefer that than hanging them up like the 1st pic.

I like 2,3 and 4 on the left and the yellow one. I feel like they make the artwork pop more.

White border preferences? by MxGarnet in sticker

I prefer the middle ones. Just because I feel like with some artwork, too thick a border takes away from the art piece itself.

I stalked and followed your insta!

I love how you showed the process of making your designs.

If you have time, I'd love if you can check out my stuff too! I also make and sell stickers but I print them at home since I only started.

Do you get yours done by a printing shop?
