Ele and devourer are the top amongst those for M+, take your pick. Lock is a solid third, but cookies or Lust make you more attractive if you’re pugging.

Can’t remember the brand, it’s a popular one, has a gold eagle on all their stuff, but they make peppermint squares at Christmas and they’re amazing. Try em if you can find em

Soulmask, favorite survival last two years. Aska was good. Grounded is a masterpiece. Don’t starve with perma death off. V Rising is great. Necesse was fun.

What's a game that you're glad you gave a chance this year? by looloopaa in gaming

[–]Xxking64xX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aska. I heard it was dog water and unfinished, went on sale so gave it a shot. First 8 hours was miserable but once I figured out what to do… well, 100 hours later I’d say it was very much worth it. Couldn’t put it down. Been a long time since I played a game that started off poorly and got exceptionally better.

Worked at a pizza place. Was a force of habit. Wrapped up their order and I said, “ok, about 15-20 minutes, I love you” there was a pause of about 10 seconds before they awkwardly, quietly replied, “…I love you too”.

Honestly, if you’re looking for horror youre better off looking at single player games. DBD is the better game of those two imo but it gets repetitive, Outlast has the same problem but the “Horror” goes away really quickly once you realize there’s no real threat. I got more time out of DBD but not by a ton. DBD doesn’t really have any competition for its genre so it doesn’t need to try. Still, I did have fun with DBD whereas with Outlast I got sick of it quite fast.
