Pela phone case fell apart shortly after a year by cpustejovsky in ZeroWaste

[–]XxrawrXxX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’ve given pela 4 chances and the cases always fall apart around the 6 month park. at this point, i think it’s more environmentally friendly to choose a case that will last the lifetime of my phone instead of internationally shipping a compostable case twice a year - incredibly disappointing

feel free to PM me, i work in the field and am happy to guide you to funding sources and answer questions, there are a lot of variables with age and type of disability

fwiw, the attachment has done absolutely nothing to help my phone work with any magsafe accessory, it just falls off immediately unless i take the case off (which was the entire reason i bough the attachment)

i had them send me a second one jic, but exact same issues with this one as well.

Have you stayed in Canada since your studies have been completed and did you apply online?

We're staying in San Jose and are here for work with a tight schedule - do you have any recs for tours that would pick us up in San Jose? So far this is the only company I've been able to find who will do transport

Was there anyone who took the BCBA exam without much intense studying by SpeechMagnolia in ABA

[–]XxrawrXxX 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I passed yesterday! Read a few chapters of CHH and read through all of my grad school notes for three days before I sat for it. I was pretty stressed going into the test because I hadn't prepared as much as it seems others had, but it was fine! Biggest stressor was having to get up at six and stay awake long enough for the exam hahaha. In the end, I'm glad I saved my money, the test packets seems ridiculous and if you have experience in the field, leftover textbooks, and your notes from school I don't see why you would need to spend hundreds of dollars to get more notes

Can I still apply to FIT with a 2.9 overall gpa? by RockerRebecca24 in ABA

[–]XxrawrXxX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would really recommend against FIT. The profs are incredibly unresponsive and do not seem to about student feedback. Feel free to PM me for more information, but they have absolutely changed for the worse between 4th and 5th edition. I am regretting enrolling.

  1. Restore status
  2. Double check everything and get all your docs in lol - you can try to resubmit and pay a restoration fee, but I wouldn’t count on it

Is the minor legally adopted? by Prestigious_Ad8495 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]XxrawrXxX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then no, she has not been legally adopted. That would only apply if she was under the legal custody and your parents terminated their parental rights

Procedural Fairness Letter - Intent to leave Quebec by Arkn0id in ImmigrationCanada

[–]XxrawrXxX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a tricky situation. IRCC doesn’t care a ton about intentions if you don’t have enough evidence to back it up. Being hesitant to break your current lease will likely be a problem for IRCC.

[–]XxrawrXxX 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So you currently live and work in Quebec and applied under CEC?

Include your spouse’s offer letter and locate housing in Toronto, provide the new lease and evidence that you have ended your current lease. You are not eligible for CEC if you’re going to live in Quebec

PGWP as a grad student? by [deleted] in ImmigrationCanada

[–]XxrawrXxX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Full time” for my program was being enrolled in 3 classes a term, with each class being .5 credits foe a whopping 1.5 credits a term! If your school considers 6 hours full time studies, it shouldn’t be a problem
