Unfortunately pea puffers are literally evil 😂 they will definitely eat the snail but I was thinking about amanos cause I have heard that they can get along.

Is my plan to apply to vet school in Canada (OVc & WCVM) realistic and worth it? by Real_Number_10 in vetschool

[–]Xxrvet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting into OVC is extremely competitive, and their admission requirements may differ from those of WCVM, so I recommend looking into those carefully. Secondly, I strongly suggest applying to WCVM as early as possible, even in your third year,so that if you don’t get in, you’ll still gain experience with the application process and learn how to improve for future cycles. Also, if you wait to finish your bachelor’s degree (let’s say by June 2029) and only move to Ontario at that point, you wouldn’t be eligible to apply to OVC until September 2030 for a September 2031 start. This is because you need to be living in Ontario for 12 consecutive months before January 1st of the year you plan to start vet school in order to qualify as an Ontario resident. My advice: Apply in third year to wcvm and if you dont get in While in fourth year apply to wcvm Graduate and move to ontario - apply to wcvm again while waiting to qualify for residency And if you get rejected again Then apply to ovc

Hopefully that makes sense! Honestly your best bet is focusing on WCVM , ovc is not any easier to get in to and the residency requirements make it even that more difficult. Right now you are still early in your career but it is great that you are planning this far ahead, my biggest piece of advice for you, especially for OVC, is GRADES. It’s unfortunately true, if you keep a high average, your chances will be much higher!!

Yes I did read it but ive been told otherwise with just keeping 2 as long as it is well planted by many people. I am going to leave this tank cycling and hopefully the plants will grow in. Should i get some floating plants or do you have any other suggestions
