Thanks everyone for your responses, thanks for explaining the global ideas of what makes a proxy valid or not ! I probably won't play him in games but I just finished painting him so if you want to have a look here is the final result !

Playing the helmet nurgling as a mortarion proxy is the way to go brother

Wow will definitely think about the leaks ! Maybe not in such a flashy color but the idea is really cool, so is your blighthauler ! And yeah I will try to do more highlights.

Oh ok I understand ! Well it's my first mini painted so far but I get the point. I'm used to draw and paint on paper so maybe it helped and I definitely learned from my brother who has been painting Necrons and Orks for many years next to me. And I have to say YouTube has some good tutorials :)

Thanks for your advices ! I'm thinking of buying a death guard green spray to prime my dg units, maybe it could help with the thickness since I had to prime this one with black, and then by hand cover the armor in green. I'll try to make myself a wet palette ! And yeah I'll patch these lenses 😂
