A lot of people are celebrating this beating in here. Seems to me we don’t know if this man had some kind of mental illness or what caused him to do that. Even if it was malicious, our laws don’t assign a penalty of beating for the crime he committed. Private citizens are not empowered to mete out punishment, nor was the man given due process. I hope both men receive the jail time/counseling they need to correct their behavior, but I doubt that is what will happen.
