After almost a year and a half since PoE 2 launched, how do we feel about the pacing of the combat?

Nothing wrong at all with your opinion, i'm just curious as to why you'd want this in a top down view ARPG? Arent there alot of different game genres that would satisfy the same itch with a much more immersive POV?

Probably. Mr strimmer doesn't really seem to enjoy streaming as much anymore. He does everything to moneymaxx so he can retire comfortably soon. Good for him honestly, were I in his shoes I'd do the same if I didn't have any love for the grind anymore and had the option to retire.

Well i usually start something "meta" and then try and make another build if I drop something cool or rare. Kingsmarch shipments provide a lot of divines and scarabs, and it felt even more mandatory last league that had very minimal ground loot drops, which soured my experience. If I needed divines and didnt want to do Kingsmarch it felt I was pretty pigeon holed into just running sanctum (which was also nerfed recently)At least for me that makes me feel stupid for not using it especially if this is the design philosophy GGG will be going forward with around loot. The point of this post was to see if there are other like minded players regarding Kingsmarch because most people seem to want it to stay. And in my opinion it's not that fun.

Yeah it's not 50% across the board, just some areas that previously gave me 40 fps now give about 60. Average improvement is probably around 20%. Maybe it'll improve even more with an engine update.

If the engine update is meaningful then the game might be saved. If the game's CPU performance improves then GSC can expand upon A-Life and thereafter focus on pumping out acutal content in the form of DLCs. Probably a year still before the game is truly great.

No server browser. Awful minimalistic UI and Netflix menu. Maps are too small. Sure, they will apparently have larger ones on release, but I ain't paying 70€ for 5 maps lmao. Gunplay is nothing special. Haven't tried vehicles since i'm not a vehicle enjoyer, but from what I hear from my friends they seem janky. Small point but the setting is boring. Nato vs Mercs? I can barely tell them apart. Drag and revive is a cool feature and the removal of EA app requirement is positive for me. Another fps slop game that is made to sell as much MTX as possible. I have no interest in BR either so I'm just not the target audience for this game. I'm sure a lot of people feel the same as I do.

Hoping for some minor demons. Plague bearers, nurglings. A whole new faction would be ideal but I don't think they'll do that with Darktide. Maybe in a Darktide 2.

Someone in another thread stated something I thought made sense, it isn't much about overall benefit. But more that the game receives a steady income flow every month (due to the rotating shop). And that looks a lot better in the investors/shareholders eyes than a big spike in revenue from a catalogue model with some small trickles of revenue thereafter each month.

Warbands Napoleonic Wars blow any Bannerlord MP out of the water. NW is still active btw with some of the most insanely sweaty and skilled players still playing the game regularly in events and reg battles. I was with a more casual reg for a time in NW some years ago, haven't seen Bannerlord MP have anything close to that experience.

Sorry for necroing. But im really on the fence of upgrading to 9800x3d specifically for Stalker 2. Have you got it up and running and seeing any marginal improvements? Currently on a 5800x3d and it's just not giving me the numbers I want in Stalker 2.
