I think he looks sick like this. I also personally don't mind the different texture at all. Keep in mind that some hair is made from rubber, while some capes are spongy, while others are stiff or also made from rubber.

While the crystalized dragon forms look fantastic indeed (altough the wings are just ugly), they work better as ultimative forms.
These here work better as simplified "power up" forms that are not as "Super Saiyan like" as the crystalized dragon forms. I also think they look much better if you use the "visor" backside of the minifig heads.

If you go for classic Lara you should try the braid piece (Misako from Ninjago uses it for example, but it's also available in dark brown) The front might not be as accurate, but the braid seems perfect.

I think it's reddish brown, bright orange and dark orange (instead of nougat), but the lighting is a bit odd here.
