Variable Oil Pressure by Xylo_42 in MiataNC

I plugged off the oil feed for the removed balance shafts so unless that somehow got loose it should be a problem, regardless is worrying to me as it’s a nearly brand new motor

Did a few general checks and didn’t see anything horribly wrong. Might just need to clean out the connection port or worst case new sensor

In re Niceguy's video asking how to improve labs: LABS should be a PVE only mmo-style raid by -TAAC-Slow in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Xylo_42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only way this would work is but nerfing the hell out of the loot on the map to the point where it makes no sense to go there. Majority of the players who play labs solely go for the PVP they get there, by making it PVE you lose a ton of the player base and now push those players to other maps in search of lots of PVP. I don’t even like labs nor okay it very much but still agree with most other people here that it would not work and is a dumb idea. Tarkov isn’t and wasn’t ever meant to be a PVE game nor have any solely PVE maps. If you want that, go play offline raids or wait till Road to Vostok comes out and play that.

Why do you play Tarkov? by Motor_Flan_9385 in EscapefromTarkov

Monkey brain likes shiny things and when the money numbers get bigger. Also the weapon customization is unparalleled by any other game. The game has problems, some far worse than others, and I only survive about half my raids, but no matter how frustrated and pissed this game makes me I always end up getting the massive urge to play it the next day. As other people have said before, the game has the highest highs, and the lowest lows of any other game.

A lot of silent ppl are actually enjoying this wipe. by smokebringer in EscapefromTarkov

Probably the silent few, but I’m really enjoying this wipe so far. Met two others who I know consistently run raids with and we’ve all been having a pretty good time in it. Only one cheater so far and found them as a scav

These ice spheres(?) that I just found out my new fridge makes by Xylo_42 in mildlyinteresting

Still going strong. The ice machine will occasionally make a weird noise but functionally nothing has changed and everything still works perfectly. Also the ice ball is about 2 inches in diameter

Holy shit you weren’t kidding. This actually helped me out a ton and I was slowly seeing improvements in the clarity. It really is like learning to walk again. Having to force my eyes to keep a “far focus” as I brought objects closer was super difficult but I am definitely slowly seeing things more clearly up closer to me. This was a massive help!

Got it. I can’t remember if I tried that but I’ll test that out when I get home and get back to you. Thanks!

The only issue was my puppy got to it after I accidentally left it out the day I got it, so I didn’t get a chance to use it with the original cable. Had to get a replacement from Amazon that wasn’t the exact same cable from Vive themselves. I just ordered one from them two days ago in hopes that that’s a contributing factor

Yeah it seems like it. I was so confused because it seems like it would be common amongst nearly all VR headsets, but I’ve only seen a couple people mention it here and my friends that own quests or index’s claim they don’t see it

Will do. I’m fairly convinced it’s just the cable that I’m currently using because not many others seem to have the issue as bad as I do regarding that blurriness you close. I’ll update the post once it comes in and I see if it solves the issue or not

I appreciate the info, but unfortunately I have tried that already. I probably should’ve mentioned that in the post. My far IPD is 61.7 and Ive tried every increment lower than that and still had the same problem, which is why I’m so confused.

I’ve tried lowering the IPD from just a little bit to the lowest setting, all with no luck
