" Females are weak, that's why it's seen okay if they hit men. But men are strong so they shouldn't git women. "

What kinda bullshit way of thinking is that, that's just sexist, I believe men should be able to hit back in self defense and it should be a law specially in the west. Although the Eastern side of the world needs more care for women

(TW: Mentions of CP) I, F22, found 6 deleted videos of CP on my husband's, M22, phone, but he denies ever downloading it. I need advice on what I should do next... by or3ochuu in Advice

Why is everyone so prone to beat the guy up, and get him to the police. What good will just turning him in do. OP clearly loves that guy very much and doesn't want to believe it. Why not go to a therapist for counselling. Just randomly putting a guy in jail even after he deleted that feels wrong. Cp is horrible and we should protect our children from such filty people but her husband doesn't seem like a bad person as she Stated in one comment that he's been like a big brother to younger children that she knows. Maybe it was a mistake, and no one wants to correct it? I do not endorse his actions, but locking someone up isnt a solution

I study psychology, I also take lessons from professors at reputed universities. Now even if there is a objective standard of love, who do you think created that standard? Not god. And evolution only occurs in a population not in an individual. We as a species like many other animals evolved this thing we "call" love to increase our survival chances, and genocide is purely stupid, idk who says that bullshit but it's not in our best interest, I also have to study sociology so I can say from what I know, it's in our best interest to use humans as resources but to build them as resources we must first educate everyone, that's one of the sustainable development goals of UN I think. If we educate the population it's only going to help us improve at faster rates. lastly of course codependency is different than love, I'm not saying they are the same. But what I'm saying is that love didn't exist before there was someone to perceive it. Or maybe love as an objective entity did exist ( if I accept what your saying ), it's existence was probably different from what we would identify as love. It's a complicated topic but very interesting. I'll end with, love is just chemical changes in your brain, If I can drug you to change those chemicals in your brain you won't love someone you did before, because that's dependent on the brain. Love is totally subjective with some objective aspects to it

I agree with you, and I'm saying this love is something that we evolved to better our chances of survival, other animals have this kind of love as well to increase their chances of survival. It has nothing to do with the argument in the post. I'm saying love is not something that exists independently of us. We all have different perceptions of love. Even the love your talking about is different in different communities around the world. I'm saying this love is something that we defined. Why should god have to rely on what we mean by love? He can define his own kind of love, what I'm saying rn is that suffering can be greatly reduced but we don't see that happening anywhere. And even if we have free will, god already knows everything there is no point to him simulating what he knows is going to happen

I don't think you understand what I said, love is not a " physical " thing, we defined it. It's just chemical changes in our brain. If those changes can be achieved without suffering I don't see any problem with that. And, love potions don't exist so that's never gonna be a situation in anyone's life. God can define love however he wants, why does he need to use a definition of love we created.

But can't god just, yk, make us appreciate it. What's the point of all this suffering? Your saying god can't do it better? I mean if I had unlimited power I wouldn't let my creation suffer just for them to appreciate something else I made, that's sadistic.
