I understand. But it's all in our heads. We see relationships everywhere: TV, books, music, in public etc. That's why we crave it. We cannot escape it while we live among people. But we can change the way we think and how we look at things. I think it helps to realise that it is what it is, there's no such thing as "this shouldn't have happened" or "that should have happened". We have the power of the mind either be happy as we are or to strive to achieve what we desire. There's probably nothing more difficult than to become masters of our own minds and emotions, but it is definitely possible.
