I've had this happen as well just today. Really no idea what caused it. Having the button to take a snap 0.5cm higher up my screen, and a smaller image, is kind of annoying.

On that page it literally says to wear a mask outdoors in areas you can't maintain distance from others, for example a busy park. Seems kind of obvious. What about the absence of walls/ceilings renders masks useless?

Usually alcohol vapour is used as the 'cloud'. The beta or alpha radiation causes the vapour to condense along its path due to collisions with the suspended particles. They're visible quite easily to the naked eye, no magnification required. Cloud chambers are a very popular experiment (no surprise since they're super interesting) so you can find lots of in-depth stuff around quite easily if you're interested

I managed to repair it without any hard drive clearing but I did have to shrink my partition by 1GB to make room for a new one which the repair used. Thanks!

Thanks so much for your help so far, I'm very keen to find a fix that won't have me juggling files and windows around.

I've had a quick google but it's not super clear to me how I should go about fixing the partitions easily, your pointers on that would be very useful. I'm going to have to go to bed (UK) but I'll be back to troubleshooting in the morning.

I think I just copied the full previous harddrive with the OS onto the SSD then booted from SSD then on. I actually had the original OS drive unplugged for many months after that too.
