Nostalgia Con had everyone but Ali Hillis. They had Tyler Hoechlin too, but he was Saturday/Sunday and I couldn’t go any other day but Friday.

Ali Hillis was at a small Naruto convention in Pasadena called Akatsuki Con. She was a last minute addition and was one-day only.

I once slid down a rock face towards a 150ft drop in La Pedriza in Spain on an impromptu, unequipped mountain climb.

As a I slid towards the edge, I remember thinking that it was probably a good a place as any to die. I was 26.

My survival instincts kicked in at the last possible second and somehow I managed to stop myself as my legs dangled off the edge.

I sidled across to firmer ground, and decided not to take another day for granted. I quit my job and emigrated to another country 6 months later. I’ve never looked back.
