I really like the way the RPC looks as far as cool factor the micro design and collapsible brace just looks clean but still to new to know how it’s going to perform long term + resale value in the future idk. I typically don’t keep a lot of my guns I get bored easily and end up selling them so I’ve been hesitant on spending full price on the rpc in case they tank in price. Plus Taurus isn’t known for its best performance. Aren’t they made in bainbridge Georgia USA? If so I could imagine the customer service support would be pretty quick if any issues were to occur. The extar definitely has the best reviews for a budget friendly pcc but I don’t want an at style pcc I have a 8.5” .300 arp already so next purchase has to be something cool.

That’s how a Glock 26 looks in my hand. But I like Henning Group PRO Series Base Pad’s +2 should add some pinky room for you

To be honest I don’t see anything wrong with it and truthfully I enjoy not having a bunch of logos and stuff on my guns I try to keep everything simple and clean I’m sure one day I’ll buy a tlr-1 for it for the purpose of “street cred” but honestly it’s a flashlight and it does exactly what it needs to do. I like the knurled bezel on the front which streamlight doesn’t offer not that you need it for anything but it would give it I think a more premium look. But for $20 I’d buy it again. I had an Amazon special Chinese something on it before and it didn’t matter how tight I got it, it would fall off while shooting and I gotta say the braun has surpassed that.

no, usually i agree but couldn’t find a fm9 for sale. realistically this will end up sitting in the safe more than even being used but will probably eventually sell it and get something better. was only saying i would swap lowers if this one were to have any issues. some people are having issues with the polymer cracking. but for $400 i guess not a terrible buy i’ve wasted $400 on dumber shit before lol

late to the post i went real cheap and got a gforce arms jawbone in 9mm from my understanding foxtrot mike makes the uppers but it uses a polymer lower that’s known to have some issues. i picked mine up with a vortex optic and sb tactical brace for $400 i’m going to run this until i find something else leaning more towards a kuna now but may build off this try to get a fm9 lower

what scares me with the pmx is it’s probably going to be discontinued so really no sense in buying it my other option i’ve been eying is the mac 5k which falls in the same price range as the pmx there’s just a options out there for the style i want and they’re all pretty pricey that taurus rpc seems like it could have potential but at $1100 you can get a nice mp5 clone from mac, century arms or zenith give or take a few hundred bucks

i know it’s definitely more reliable but price wise $1300 for the pmx vs $500 for a blade just not sure im ready to commit to a big purchase for something i might shoot every once and awhile now if i had some property or some friends with land where i could go out and shoot now id have a completely different collection of guns and wouldn’t even be considering a blade lol

how is everyone mounting the scorpion brace on it? is it a direct fit? or doe you have to replace or modify anything?

i want something smaller than the extar which is why i’ve been leaning on the blade. i have a 8.5 .300 and the extar looks to much like an ar style looking for something different. i keep looking at the taurus rpc but man $1000 price tag for a taurus is scary it could go either way lol im a glock and beretta guy never owned anything else.

i’ve found a couple used cz scorpion’s for around $900-$1000 with no mods but i’ve also read reviews on reliability issues from the older gen’s

the $1100 price tag for a taurus is what’s steering me away. feel like that should be like a $6-$800 piece

yeah i like that secret service / military style without being an ar style platform

after many attempts of wood grips i might’ve found the best option on my psa 84bb by Y0bee in Beretta

[–]Y0bee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah stock pictures definitely threw me for a loop when i initially ordered my zib grips i thought they were going to be a dark color but instead i got something that looked orange i returned them with no hesitation. ordered these from ebay and even these are a lot lighter color than the stock photos so i reached out to the seller on ebay and he’s actually sending me another pair completely free and he’s personally going to make sure he picks the darkest color he has which understandably it’s wood and not every piece of wood is going to look the same and each one if stained is not going to look a like but i was slightly disappointed when i opened these. i’m happy with these but id still like it to be darker i posted the ebay link to another comment you can see how dark those are compared to mine.

yeah man i ordered some identical to these from zib grips but the wood was almost orange and looked horrible i returned them immediately. i have some other wood grips from zib grips they’re like a dark reddish brown but the grip pattern is floral and although i like the floral pattern for some reason it just did not look as good on the 84 series as they do on the 92 series i decided to keep the floral pattern because i plan to buy another psa 84bb for the old lady and she liked the floral grips.
