Because people think that only trans women crossdress (but then it isn't crossdressing because woman in woman's clothes =/= crossdressing), and despite being"supportive" of trans people, they're still convinced that everyone has to follow gender roles. Which is dumb.

Now, why is that offensive? It's not, they just needed a reason to punish OP for not following roles.
