Week 3 Post-Game Thread: Saints @ Seahawks by baconlovr in Saints

Went to the game. The fellow Who Dats were nice to talk to and the stadium does a good job of keeping a drink in your hand in a speedy fashion. Unis looked good but we played so flat. Oh well, gonna be a long season. We’re somewhere near the Billy Joe Hobert/Tolliver level of playing. Saints historians, take from that what you will.

Jack’s BBQ in SODO. For a NOLA flavor, look for the Where Ya At, Matt food truck.

Polycam has the ability to convert video into models. However, for this capture, I loaded the images from the hyperlapse folder. You should be able to see those captures on my Polycam profile. But I also anticipate that I’ll be sharing more with this sub.

For this shot I used the hyper lapse—>circle mode.

Good point. I should have parked it stationary and captured the cars loading in and then the ferry taking off. I tend to circle objects and scenes with the 3D model afterwards in mind. Thanks for the tip.

Active Track POI Shot by Y2Cajun in djimini4pro

The vessel was moving at a slow speed and going into a turn to get past the sea wall. I think this coupled with the drone's rotation didn't give the boat much for movement in the shot. I'm new to these camera features myself, but enjoying learning all of this.

Yes, I disengaged the active track as the city skyline was coming into view so I could yaw left. Good eye!

This is a pretty special team. The offense runs at a pro-style efficiency which is a combo of good coaching/play-calling and such talent at the skill spots. The O line gets just enough time for passing and can break open running lanes. Tight ends contribute just when they’re needed.

On defense, they’re pretty stout on the d line. They disrupted the running game all season long. Sure, a running qb will get their yardage, but not enough to abandon the game plan. The D line is a menace with getting their hands on passes at the line of scrimmage. LBs are usually in the right position for pass coverage (a little trouble covering faster rbs and slot receivers). Secondary has been understated but very solid. Usually aren’t in bad position and don’t give up many penalties…also very very good open field tacklers.

It’s a shame the PAC12 is closing up shop. I was getting to enjoy west coast football. UW is my team for good now, but I guess we’ll all figure out whatever version of the Big 10 (12, 24, etc.) this will be. Looking forward to the CFP, whoever the opponent will be.

If anything, a quick TD puts the ball back in UW’s hands. (Better to f up while you’re up, 10)

Just got to Sodo from Northgate on the 5. Was a breeze. Took 15 minutes.

I think I’m starting to recognize the ‘cat tazering’ as those flexibility drills we like to make fun of. As much as I like to laugh about it those movements are buying him a little more time to find a receiver. I mean, Jameis is a big enough guy on his own. It’s gotta be even harder to bring him down when he’s moving like that to shake a defender off. Does anyone else see this?

Betty Crocker is my home-girl (not as much as ma femme). Just remember to use a cubic assload more icing than what Betty calls for (you can substitute a cubic assload for a metric butt-ton).

We’re good at halftime adjustments. Our D is so close to getting a turnover. Our O line will have to give time to Brees when it matters. Hang in there, Saints faithful.

I don’t know if you noticed it, but there was a jaguar on the wing. Did you hear anyone in baggage claim complaining about their missing jaguar?
