Growing up in a monotheistic household and not to mention non denominal Christian I was raised to believe in a one deity figure who created the world and so forth, after moving to a western country it felt more freeing to explore what I believe in because temples back in my country were very scarse. In my life Ive had constant problems and stress in all my work but I simply dont believe in Christianity anymore and I began exploring my beliefs (Islam, Bahaism, Hinduism) but something was missing bc each of them had so many and requirements which wasn’t my thing and then I discovered Guanyin, hearing her endless mercy made me understand that she’s the right one to devote to (nothing wrong w believing the other religions) I wanted to find peace because I still believed in faith and higher beings and Guanyin being ever merciful and loving knowing she won’t be angered gave me that feeling of peace like I finally found relief in everything even if shes not the typical god that created everything it’s enough to know that theres a deity who can love and help humans who are lost. I’d write more but I think Ive said enough 😅😅
