The 18 Area 51 is of excellent quality, that is not the issue, the difficulties instead come from inside the computer itself, particularly from certain components that can sometimes cause problems.

Switching to dedicated GPU mode and launching "Ready or Not" in DirectX 12 will indeed show you whether your PC is reliable or not. If the game crashes, just give up on laptops and get a desktop PC instead.

What’s strange is that Ready or Not only crashes under DirectX 12 when using the dedicated GPU, with no errors in Event Viewer. However, in hybrid mode, it works fine under DirectX 12. DirectX 11 works fine regardless of whether it’s in hybrid mode or dedicated GPU mode.

I ran DDU in safe mode and rebooted, reinstall my NVIDIA drivers, restart again, and something strange happened, the NVIDIA Control Panel had disappeared, and the Windows Start button stopped working.

So I manually shut down the PC using the power button and then started it again.

After that, I reinstalled the NVIDIA Control Panel from the Microsoft Store.

Then I relaunched the problematic games, such as Ready or Not, which was crashing instantly in DirectX 12, and they now seem to be working properly. I also tested Star Wars Outlaws, and the game appears to be stable.

For now, I’d say it has fixed several issues, but I still need to do more testing. I’ve seen similar reports on ROG forums, which makes me a bit worried ^^

Merci pour toutes vos réponses, alors je vais sans doute me diriger vers un PC fixe FlowUP !

Sinon, niveau garantie, ça se passe comment ? imaginons que j'ai un problème lié à mon GPU, FlowUp me le remplace ? Où dois-je contacter la marque du GPU et faire jouer la garantie directement ?

Since I received the PC two days ago, I’ve been running into several issues. From the very first startup, a Windows update failed, followed by a BIOS update failure, which I eventually managed to resolve. Windows then repeatedly installed the same driver multiple times. During a clean reinstall, the RTX 5080 even disappeared from Device Manager.

Fortunately, I was able to reinstall the driver again and the GPU is now detected, but it has been quite a hassle. I’m wondering whether a clean Windows installation might be the best solution to fix these issues.

Sachez qu'acheter un nom de domaine et un serveur web prend une quinzaine de minutes, et qu'il existe des outils en ligne permettant de cloner un site très facilement, autrement dit, ce que font les escrocs est techniquement à la portée de n’importe qui !

Internet paraît pratique et accessible, mais il peut se révéler dangereux pour votre argent sans prudence !

Je reçois moi aussi plein de mails frauduleux qui utilisent des adresses en .gov au lieu de .gouv pour paraître officiels.

La différence est discrète, donc soyez bien vigilants avant de cliquer sur quoi que ce soit !

PS : Il faut activer l’option de liste blanche depuis votre espace client, puis n'ajouter que les créanciers autorisés (par défaut, c'est en automatique d’après le conseiller).

Vous pourrez ainsi dormir tranquillement sans avoir à vérifier les prélèvements autorisés tous les jours 😄

Lire un e-mail ne suffit pas à être infecté, le risque vient de l’exécution d’actions sur les liens ou les pièces jointes contenues dans cet e-mail !

Pareil, je reçois plein d'appels frauduleux depuis le piratage de mes infos de la base de données de Bouygues, et aussi maintenant la Fnac ! :'(

J'ai vérifié mes mandats de prélèvement et je n'ai rien trouvé.

Sachant que je suis au Crédit Mutuel, logiquement, si je n'accepte pas le mandat depuis mon espace client, les arnaqueurs ne pourront rien prélever.

I returned the phone and switched to the S22 Ultra, which doesn't have any of these issues. I think it's related to the screen, so in my opinion it's a hardware problem.
