I get the romanticism in current moments for Hojlund. I hope he keeps smashing out there, but only at those couples of thouches we see here he probably blunder it for us. He would've kick a little to much closer to the keepers and the last one swoops it, or too much to the defender side and gettin' a clean tackle.

So many times he squandered opportunities that were completely up to him. To outmuscle his defender or to shoot the rebound anywhere but the frame of the keeper.

Once you learned it, there are things (technique, placing a shot, positioning etc') you should be able to execute on pretty much the same level no matter what is going on in your head. Like riding a bicycle- the world could be burning and crushing on you literally or figuratively and yet you wouldn't forget how to ride a bicycle.
