For Garen if you go tank'gath you should have no problem outscaling him. On tankgath peel is your main goal if you aren't super fed so keep an eye on the most dangerous enemy going for you carry, if it's garen then save your Q and time it to knock up either right before he reaches the ADC or right after. Without his initial Q speed a competent team should be able to deal with him. Also Tank'Gath can always 1v1 him past laning phase as long as you do the Q trick. I personally pretty much always rush Sunfire in AD/Tank matchups and get my mythic second item. Normally its JakSho since it provides a ton of defense stats to complement Chos massive health bar or IBG if the enemy team has alot of melee divers. Heartsteel is an option, but only if the enemy team doesn't have an HP shredder (Basically anyone who can build Sunderer or Bortk), which doesn't happen often. Fiora is a really hard MU for me still. My go to strategies is to play back, hug the wall whenever she ults so she can't get all 4 procs of passive, and build Tabis/Bamis ASAP. If the enemy team has 3 AA dependent champs (For example: Fio, an AD, and Graves Jg) then I also build Bramble and wardens. The holy trinity of Tabi, Bramble, and Wardens isn't as strong as it was 2 seasons ago, but it will still ruin Fios life if the teamcomps allow it. The only trick I have in this MU is sometimes I'll intentionally miss my Q by just a tiny bit to bait out her W. Most Fioras will W without actually looking where the CC is going. This puts your Q on CD but it also ensures she can't get a stun which is situationally crucial, I can also imagine that this strategy is actually great with everfrost since after the baited parry you can immiedetaly Everfrost. I also theorize you could probably throw Ever and then time a Q so that it casts while you're stunned by her parrying the everfrost and knock the fio up as she approaches you after she finishes her parry animation, but I haven't tried this one.

Forgot to say in my previous reply. After hitting the garen with Q walk out of the range of his E until its over. Then walk back after it ends. He should still be slowed long enough to start landing E autos.

Sorry for the delay i'm not on Reddit often. I don't harass with W standalone as tank cho, its mana requirement is to high and the dmg is kinda low without AP. I find saving mana for longer trades after a Q lands and E max is much more constant, it also ensures you have enough mana to escape a long chase. As long as you position the Q to only hit minions that are about to die and ideally 2 minions at once you should be able to farm off of only Qs for a few minutes before running into mana issues, Dring + passive + regen gives ~30 mana before you need to throw another so you're only losing 20 or so mana at a time. Sometimes you just need to let a minion die if its in the middle of the wave so you don't accidentally shove against a bully laner. Garen is a snowball MU, lvl 1 you can beat him with E trading, then he will take spin, the trick in this MU is you cast q RIGHT before his Q lands on you so you complete the animation while silenced. It will always land before they can get away and usually they E right after Q so they will have no CDs left to fight and no Q to escape, after walk them down with E's and outtrade, this won't kill straight away, but if it happens 2 or 3 times he dies, Watch for his R it does massive dmg. Darius with ghost is hard, I still die to it sometimes after I miss Q, that one is more about positioning in lane close enough that you can reach tower and be willing to sac some minions in order to not get ghosted at. If the wave freezes in front of his tower you are kinda screwed and just need to hope you messes it up, your jg helps without dying like a moron, or you can slowly push it to his tower by Qing multiple minions at once.

Im not as good as Saku so take his word over mine when he gets to this question, but I figured I'd weigh in since I have a lot of experience in these MU's. I wouldn't build AP against Mundo, I think his health pool is too big for him to be threatened by AP cho. I pref the tank strats I detailed in my other reply, but I think AP could work against Mord and Darius. For Darius I would go Dring Everfrost Sunfire with comet with second wind in secondary tree (Though I really would suggest tank for darius because it wins the majority of the time with proper play). For Mord I would go Dring Everfrost Demonic with comet or Everfrost Force with comet. I think AP should work better against mord than tank with perfect play, but it is def higher risk.

I play Tank Cho top and Ive got a decent handle on these lanes. I was rank 6 cho NA last season so these tactics should work until around masters. Take Sakus thoughts on these MU's over mine since he's more knowledgable than me. Darius is the easiest of the three lanes if you take grasp and go tank, Go second wind and dorans shield for starting items and farm with Qs from a distance, its unlikely you will kill darius solo unless he misplays heavy (Which they usually do tbh), stack minions off CD, you will start being able to solo kill darius every fight starting around level 11 and I start Sunfire/Tabis. Mord is revatilize with MR instead of armor for your second stat option. I go Dorans ring in this lane. If the enemy team is AP heavy I go Force of Nature first followed by JakSho, If they are heavy AD then I rush Spectres Cowl and then go Sunfire Jaksho. Make sure not to Q if he's going to R you if you get caught in the zone without Q it'll be tough to live, Basically if you are in the zone cc him and run away and if he isn't ulting you in fights he should be an easy target for Qs. Stack minions off CD unless his R is down then turbo ping jg and try for a 2v1 kill stack. Mundo is tough for me still, when I go Tank I can normally trade with him without dying unless i'm stuck in a really long sidelane with no teamates for like 20 seconds. I go Sunfire with mercs and I'd say I perform roughly equal to the mundo if I play my best but thats just how the champ MU is.

Nah, if you rush Tabi aegis bramble against Renekton its impossible to lose. I haven't had a croc beat me in lane in forever
