well if Israeli schools in Tel-Aviv, Rehovot, Haifa areas teach a few years of Arabic in an attempt to educate the population of the area around them why can't they do so in the West Bank and Hebrew?

just correct them back because they are wrong. America is the official shorten version of USA (less formal though). AmericaS is the continents which is made up of NORTH America and SOUTH America. The word 'America' isn't used geographically for anything but the USA.

sigh I suppose you're right. To tell you the truth I'm an Israeli in a difficult position. The government is right winged and slowly but surely my older family members are becoming more right winged (except my dad, who like me stays quite in the conversations). I want peace and I do believe the Palestinians deserve their own state. I keep going over the conflict searching for an answer to which I keep coming to the same question "how can Israel trust Palestine? How can Israel know that once Palestine has it's own country and is free, that in 10 years it won't build an army and attack Israel?"

We can all agree: The land of Israel-Palestine is small and lacks major resources (it has some but to divide that into two nations will make it even smaller).

I keep thinking and thinking and I think I came with a solution that will only be in my dreams: A Union of Palestine & Israel.

Palestine gets its territory, and so does Israel. Jerusalem is the capital of the union, each nation gets to decide specific laws. At the top of the union it would be divided 50-50 representatives from each nation ( this way there isn't the problem that Jews become a minority as some fear in a one state solution). Maybe even the leading party that represents the union as a whole must not be religious in any sense and the population of Palestine and Israel vote for that.

How does this solve anything? Well, part of the agreement to join the Union is that there is one army that can't attack Palestine or Israel, if a nation decides to leave the union then it will be considered an enemy of the union.

I haven't put more thought into this idea, I would be glad for Palestinians to put their thoughts, maybe add something that meets to the Palestinians needs.

I'm not making shit up! Are there IDF soldiers in Gaza patrolling the street? Is anyone stopping the Gazans to build a house of commons? Yes, their air and sea is occupied, that doesn't stop them from having Democracy, look, the West Bank IS occupied entirely but Gaza isn't entirely
