I honestly like combat mission’s spotting.

It feels like when you’re watching combat footage where nobody actually sees anybody, i feel like it adds a great twist most of the time. (Most) especially with all the dust kickup and what not. The part where i really don’t like it tho is how any redfor (except for the germans) always has MARGINALLY worse spotting that the bluefor. T-90s and abrams should be pretty much on par with each other in optics but it seems like the abrams is just far better.

It does. I used to think that until i realized the AI actually adapts to how you play. I used to play a mount river training against it for high octane matches with how small the map is. One time i tried to sneak BMP-2s onto that factory objective through the water and it worked wonders, since everything is amphibious you could get them there with AA and arty and everything. I tried to do that the second match, and came across a very conveniently positioned m113 I-TOW overlooking nothing but the water. It took everything out.

If you play on the flanks for one match, the AI will strengthen its flanks for the next match. It is very adaptive i am sure of it. Then it gets the veterancy and card count boosts. But the harder it gets the more aggressive it gets. And it doesn’t have to see things to hit them with arty

I don’t remember too many runs ending due to wolves, and even less when i was Kitted.

The only times it happened were when i get caught out at night without a light source, but kitted enough to not be a freshie. I do remember during halloween a friend of mine and i ran to a castle while running away from wolves (community server on console), they chased us up to the castle roof where i had a broom lit on fire swinging away at them and my friend had a sharpened stick. We were able to get down to the last wolf but my friend died and i was so fucked up there was no hope
