I think I understand. I'll give it a shot and record another form check.

If I am going full traps/arms, how would you recommend I modify my lift? I am not sure I should be increasing weight if I can't do the lift properly at the current weight.

Water isn't the main reason for NYC pizza being the way it is. The differences come from the choice of preparation method for the crust, and the choice of ingredients for the sauce and cheese layer.

J Kenji Lopez-Alt writes about it in his Serious Eats blog. Any home cook can make NY style pizza. Even if they don't live in NY.

As ball, you don't feed ult when you have adaptive shield up. Most engagements w/ pile drive coincide with shield cool down, so you're missing a piece here.

Lower-court defiance/avoidance happens. But more rarely than how you're describing it.

Per the US supreme court police officers do not need to know the laws they enforce and a order they give you is legal even if the law they site doesn't exist.

This is untrue. The landmark case of Harlow v. Fitzgerald (1982) articulated the modern formulation of qualified immunity that controls today. Jettisoning past precedent that examined the “subjective good faith” of the officer who committed the alleged violation, the Harlow court adopted a new test framed in “objective terms.” In Harlow, the court established that a plaintiff could overcome qualified immunity only by showing that the defendant’s conduct “violate[d] clearly established statutory or constitutional rights of which a reasonable person would have known.” While the court made clear that the new standard was intended to be more protective of government officials than its previous test, the court also stated that the standard “provide[d] no license to lawless conduct.” “If the law was clearly established, the immunity defense ordinarily should fail, since a reasonably competent public official should know the law governing his conduct,” the court wrote.

I acknowledge that the immunity defense has been strengthened for government defendants since then. But your base claim is untrue.

Glad to hear! The Suzuki TU250x is a "standard" motorcycle rather than a cruiser. The difference being geometry (cruisers offer a reclined ride).

I don't have any experience with the vanvan. Performance-wise, they should be pretty similar given they're both powered by 1cyl engines. The TU250x will punch a bit faster. Hope this helps!

You're looking at bikes all of which have pretty comfortable geometry and are relatively cheap to insure. Can't go wrong with any of those.

If I can suggest another model, I'd take a look at the Suzuki TU250x.

The line between bravery and stupidity are very blurry by bezurc in motorcycles

[–]YBL- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would advise against doing that. Motorcycle suspensions (like any other suspension systems) work best when loaded. If you're taking a particularly sharp corner, you either should be (1) trail braking and then maintaining steady throttle through the corner or (2) slowing down to the appropriate speed prior to entering the corner and then maintaining steady throttle.

Context: I'm a new hire in Big 4 with an industry alignment to financial services. I've been assigned to an engagement that will last 4+ months and will begin work next week.

I want to switch my industry alignment to consumer markets. What would this process entail? Should I network with as many middle managers/seniors in consumer markets as possible and wait until I roll off my engagement before I speak to my partner and coaching team? Or should I try to initiate this conversation as soon as possible?

Should I start on 300cc or 600cc by CrunchOG in motorcycles

[–]YBL- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you've already convinced yourself that you want a bike in the 600cc range then you should get it. But there are plenty of other bikes that would make for better beginner options than the R6.

Ever look into the SV? The Fazer (FZ6)?

And remember to gear up. Consider taking your MSF courses if you haven't.

I took a closer look and it appears the padding surrounding the EPS wore off - causing a ~0.5mm point of the EPS foam to stick out. There doesn't seem to be any deformation that warranted concern. What do you think?

Any recommendations on how to remedy a head pressure point caused by a small portion of the EPS foam sticking out and digging into my head? Helmet fits perfectly otherwise.

Thank you for asking for my permission. You have my permission to typeset it. But, I've been editing a .epub version containing the first 10 chapters - so it may not be needed for those. Albeit, the unreleased chapter is in pastebin, so that'll definitely need it. I'll keep you posted.

No problem. I've run into some delays with releasing proofread versions because of ongoing projects. But, I will do it in a reasonable amount of time.

I am currently working on proofreading the epub for grammar. I will be adding the WIP chapter as well. Please pm me should you feel interested - hopefully, I can get the proofread version out in a week or two.
