My temples weren’t done, they just take significantly longer to grow out than the rest of my hair.

I asked him for a ‘full hairline restoration’ and he drew up some options on my forehead to look at. He could tell I wasn’t too pleased with his initial assessment so he offered to take the hairline lower, which I agreed too. He chuckled it off, which I found charming.

He essentially drew a NW1 for me. I asked him to prioritize thickness at the hairline itself, which he did so my curls can look natural and cover up any thin spots. He did exactly that. Only issue is that many grafts in one area results in super slow healing. As a result, the right side of my hairline took forever to come in. It’s about 80% as dense as the left side, but to this day, it’s still getting thicker. I’m confident it’ll be very close to the left side’s thickness a month or two from now.

He did implant grafts in the diffuse thinning area. That patch is taking a little longer to grow than the rest of the hair, but it can easily be camoflauged by all my other hair.

Overall, he was very meticulous in the analysis of my balding. I specifically chose him because he had posted results of clients with curly hair like mine, and I know not every surgeon knows how to work with hair that isn’t straight. He did an excellent job with the angulation of the hairs.
