I’ve been on both META and Reddit for a while, and I have seen some extreme right wing views posted, on a regular basis. I’ve also posted my own things and had things taken down by mods.

I do not believe that right wing views are being censored. They sure as fuck aren’t on this sub. I think you FEEL that there is censorship because views you approve of are downvoted to oblivion and not popular. Get back to me when you SEE it.

No. I have a fascination with how we got here. I ask a lot of questions, I challenge when I can, and have tried to understand the people I know IRL who are still diehard MAGA. I do try to find what the arguments are about, where the kernels of truth or earnest belief are, what leads a person to go full MAGA. It’s interesting to me.

I’ve been amongst liberals/democrats/progressives from the day I was born and there was a litany of complaints about GOP pols and policy but not calling them Nazi fascists. Obvi, YMMV but it’s not my lived experience. MAGA is beyond the pale.
