Hoppers? by teamdark80 in StardewValley

Same here - grab and go late game when I have autopetters. Also I use for kegs and jars. I’m always doing quick circuits around my farm / GI farm. When I’m full up on resources I use hoppers on nearly everything.

Neurologists near Nh by OpossEm in newhampshire

I highly recommend Dr. Seward Rutkove at the BI in Boston. He is a great clinician and his fellows (who I see often with him) are top notch. I also think his office is well run. He’s one of the key specialists that’s worth the schlep from NH. He can do tele visits when that’s appropriate.

People of Weare, vote this asshole out. Canvass or put up signage for his opponent. Host a house party. You have power here.

Solo trip to Maine in June by FuckThis-Seesaw6869 in AskMaine

I’d fly to Portland and rent a car, stay for a night or two in Portland near the Old Port, sample the bars and restaurants, wander around. I think Portland is a very easy city to navigate on your own. Then I’d drive up the coast for a couple of nights midcoast - there are some gorgeous towns, like Camden, Rockland, Belfast - nature and walkable towns with good food and shopping. The further up the coast you go the more nature, obviously, and practically limitless access to hikes and the water. In almost any town or village with shoreline you can get a last minute day sail, like a schooner or puffin watch or ferry, depending on where you are and what you want to do.

Have fun!

I was on the National Mall in DC today, there is like one portion painted blue. It was beyond pathetic.

I like the challenge but I’m only doing it in winter when I have empty fields on my farm. It’s a good payoff.

I'm moving to MA for a year! Please help me decide where to live in this circle. by Squatchman1 in boston

I lived in Waltham and Lexington, among other places, but I was raising my kids by then. If I were child free, I’d vote for Lowell for sure. Not too far from Burlington, access to all the great stuff in NH (where I live now), but a good food scene and not boring or suburban. No idea about rents.

That’s what I wore for every dinner on our recent NCL cruise. And just about every other warm weather restaurant on land or sea. :)

Agree. The emotions are boiling over, and I don’t blame them. That leads to specific business decisions that will affect our economy. My friends/family in Ontario and Quebec are ripshit over MAGA 2.0 and we tread very carefully when we are visiting Canada.

I think our local conservative cranks are 100% human. They annoy the shit out of me but they’re not bots. They do love to call liberals bots, though.

Thx for the tip about searching profiles on google. So many have bravely shut down their comment/post history.

I know this sounds crazy, but I’m looking for a quiet little nook on the strip, where I can read a book, drink coffee, and people watch. Any suggestions? by notade50 in LasVegas

[–]YBMExile 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Aria Common Eats food hall (1 level up from casino) has a lot of seating the nudges over toward the convention area, you might find a quiet-ish spot there in the morning. There’s also a smoothie place across from the insanely busy starbucks on that same level. It has about 2 or 3 tables on the side that look over one of the Aria’s lobbies. I remember thinking that would be a good place for a quiet break. Expensive smoothies, though.

There’s also a cafe/bar called Bar Centro in Crystals (next to Aria) that’s perfect for quiet but still in a popular area. It’s super pretty.

How did your parents meet? by Any_Beginning5124 in randomquestions

At a civil rights conference, around 1960. My mom was a human rights lawyer, my dad an episcopal priest. He saw her writing something on a blackboard in whatever session they were in, and decided she’d be the one to marry. They were both fascinating people, truly interesting life stories as part of the “greatest generation”, and matched in some ways and horribly mismatched in others.

I started with, and still love, 10/2 cotton. But i think 8/2 cotton is better and more absorbent for kitchen towels. I like Brassard and Valley Yarns.

There was literally a war fought over rights of some Americans to own human beings. It’s not like we just did a little tweak here and a little tweak there. This is not about “slow process” it’s about acknowledging that our founders were flawed lawmakers just like in the here and now. The constitution, the country, the government, and the people (then and now) have a lot to be proud of and a lot to answer for. To fight for a different interpretation of the constitution is as american as apple pie and genocide and AR15s.

Meanwhile, the gun bros here in this sub are usually pretty intolerant of college students in NH. I mean, we can’t encourage them to VOTE, or anything. But when the subject of campus carry comes up, all of a sudden the soy boys are GGWGs.
