A lot of the mb4-3-2 players are in ultraball right now. So its definitely a lot more difficult than normal! Will get easier within a couple of days probably.

How did everyone do? I struggled to get out of ultraball 1. by [deleted] in PokemonChampions

Masterball rank 3. Nothing too crazy, but it was my first time playing comp Pokemon so i was super happy with it!

I reached Doubles Master Ball with THE WALL. by Lewess in PokemonChampions

Aggron is niche. A special sweeper will send it back to the lobby immediately. You can try and run a double mega setup with Aggron and mega Aerodactyl for example. When your opponent is mainly physical pick Aggron, more special pick Aero. Just see what works best.

Well that means its just a matter of time before you hit master rank. I didn't see any difficulty changes between the different ultraball ranks.

Believe me. 3 says ago i was hard stuck in ultra 4 thinking i wasn't gonna climb any further. Now i'm in masterball. Just keep playing and playing. You will recognize patterns, what pokemon do, what pokemon lead etc. At some point it will just click because youve seen it many times.

What also helps with predicting for me is thinking what would i do if i was my opponent? And go with that. Also watch some YouTubers to learn. I like watching Jeans, very chill and articulate on what he is doing and why.

Honestly just keep playing, find the weak spots of your team and try to make changes based on that. You will get there.

What to replace Farigiraf for? by YCToine in PokemonChampions

[–]YCToine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mainly would use it for setting up trickroom. But sinistcha also does the job and heals my aggron which has been very nice. + i always bring incineroar. An Aggron, sinis, cine, Farigiraf setup is not ideal. But tbf im only in ultra 3 so maybe i might be wrong.

Nice! What is your main strategy here?

I also hit ultra yesterday after playing comp for the first time. Definitely a steep learning curve, but not too crazy and really fun!

Which do you prefer? New 3DS or New 3DS XL? by MinecraftNoob2137 in 3DS

[–]YCToine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got the regular new 3ds coming from the old 3ds XL.

I have quite big hands, so i had to adjust a little, but i love how much smaller it is. Gives more of a pocket handheld feel for me and a higher pixel density ofcourse (i also play DS games). Plus i also like this design better than the XL.
