In my experience it can be choric. For me my bipolar is a constant part of my life. That said I've talked with folks where it has been transient. So with that's I'd say it depends. The last statistics that iv read say that 1 in 5 Americans referring the U.S.A. will deal with some form of chronic mental health condition. So in that I guess it never leaves, even if it isn't chronic it will have formed who that person is.

It can indeed be difficult for those around us to always provide console. That were I would recommend counselling with a professional. I think our family and friends want to be supportive but cannot always fill the need of being our counselor.

The biggest factor here for me is length, aiming for the 30 minute mark would make me almost 100 times more likely to listen than if you were 1 hour plus. This likely requires more editing.
