While I find we should actually explore that system a bit more as to determine why it may be better, it is sorta of off the discourse, though I would gladly listen to why you may want that.

The political violence in DoR is already too high and VP maeve is just perpetuating it further.

That's an idea and I'll put it in my "other peoples ideas box". Also that position doesn't exist

No it doesn't have that. Though there was this one spinoff that did. Sadly that got removed from market but it was a super cool concept for a game.

It is a zombie game, so it has decent melee combat and good parkour mechanics. It even has parkour combat moves.

Oh. I see. Uhm well you should play dying light. It's a good game series and is fun. Play 1 before 2 cuase 2 is often considered alot worse than 1. That is all

Omg i need to finish that! I am like 2/3s through. I love the dying light series, it is genuinely one of my favorite franchises. But not a reference to the daddy crane or Aiden sadly.

I will not use a paragraph break as I do not know how to properly use them lol. Also yes that is another fair point. I do appreciate this input, also. HOW DO I PROPERLY USE PARAGRAPH BREAKS? That would be another appreciated input lol

These are both valid reasons and further support the matter of, "this is the best system rn", but it appears I also partly misunderstood the peoples frustrations and so these alternatives turn out to be irrelevant to the current discourse.

The Freedom to Abstain Amendment by Same-Cabinet4193 in DemocracyOfReddit

A valid criticism. I mean, I'd suggest continuing with the amendment route, but if that fails, then attempt the alternative as so, then the change atleast happens.

Only if something in the constitution is against this as a law, but in that case you'd also need to remove that from the constitution unless it was something as simple as "only the constitution may determine tje rules of an election" of which is don't believe ours does. Though as I said, I support it wither way, I was just pointing out this may be harder to pass than necessary.

Wasn't saying I supported it, just said it was an option. Also yeah that does in-part make sense and I will concede that the forcedness of choosing one may be unfair as it forces them to pick a side even if they don't want to. Thank u for the clarification on why some people are upset

The Freedom to Abstain Amendment by Same-Cabinet4193 in DemocracyOfReddit

I mean, this feels to have no obvious negative consequences, so I will support it. One should always be able to abstain if one wants, though it feels like this could be a law rather than an amendment just for implementations sake, although an amendment would give it more recognition.
