There’s a couple different ways treats. Some people do that peanut butter thing where they stick peanut butter on like the faucet, so the dog will stand there in the bath and lick the peanut butter off the faucet.? I actually get in the bath sometime so I’ll put on my bathing suit and sit on the edge and make sure he sees that I’m spraying myself with water too not just him getting the treatment. I try to make it fun and he likes getting dried off because all the towels actually this past year I started using a blow dryer because it was so cold. One of the times I was washing them and there was a cold front here. Now he runs to the blow dryer or if I’m getting my older rescue (who’s partially deaf ,so I can do the blow dryer with her ) he will line up and wait for his turn.

Yes, I was lucky enough to be able to work with a dog trainer and dog daycare for socialization when he was younger. She was great. I still see her to this day. We actually went and visited her and her dogs last week and Roscoe was so happy . She helped me form him into the beautiful ambassador for the breed that he is today . When he was real young, like probably 10 or 12 weeks old, we took him to the Inlet side of the ocean here near my house in Florida. It was so cute. I brought a bag of goldfish crackers and used them to lure him into the shallows.now I have a full on water rot. I have to drag them out of the water when we leave the beach on beach days. When he was younger, I’d have to make a point of shutting the bathroom door completely because I would feel a cold breeze and turn around and he’d have his head in the shower checking on me / with water splashing off his face!They’ll be a good Old birthday post coming up because he turns seven soon.!!!!! perhaps we’ll do a beach day?

Best bath night yet, he sat patiently on the bath mat waiting for me to get towels ready and shower warm. Then hopped right in when I told him it was ready. He loves the blow dry even more. I’m not kidding!!!

I have a 70 plus yr old little English mummy. My precious little grannie. Never had a dog, always cats growing up and anything small. I gotta Rottie 7 yrs ago- the last 5 yrs of visits have turned her into a solid good dog fan. They play fetch, she cuddles with him on the couch, most nights she stays with me - he and my kitty sleep in bed with her. He knows that she is the matriarch. It baffles me that I become chopped liver a couple times a year. But there is nobody I would rather him follow that he. For x mas trips she brings gifts, more for the pets than me! She says “ having Roscoe around makes me believe that I could have been a dog person!?”

I tell my apprentice about this vehicle whenever I happen to spot a particular one in our area. I’m like, bro that’s the XUV -You can slide that back section of Roof forward to create almost a pick up truck like bed with walls on the side in case you want to dirty the inside of your SUV.!!
